An excited seventeen-year-old Tatsumi waited patiently her bud Psyprass to get the rest of her stuff and put it in the car.
"I can't believe they had that apartment! And it's a pity Calisto can't come yet; I would hate to stay at home any longer." Tatsumi said as Psyprass appeared at the door carrying the last of her bags.
"Yeah! Tatsumi! I can?t wait!" Psyprass squealed as she plonked her bags in the back of the car and got in the drivers seat.
"It says our neighbours are Jack and Boxie. Boxie? Okay they are in apartment 17 and we are in 18. They are huge apartments and there are four on each floor. Across the hall is 19 and 20." Tatsumi said. Psyprass started the car.
"Hey Tatsumi, I still think Juunanagou exists." Psyprass said as she backed off the driveway.
"Uh-huh. Dream on Psy, androids don't exist." Tatsumi replied. She was sick of Psyprass saying "Juunanagou is real."
I don't think she's had enough sleep. Tatsumi thought.
Psyprass sighed as she zoomed up the freeway. She knew, (or had a feeling), that Juunana was real.
"Cool! We?re here!" Psyprass exclaimed as she drove into the apartments car park and parked the car.
"Okay, we can get our junk out later." Tatsumi said as she grabbed her backpack and slammed the car door shut and walked with Psyprass to the front of the building. They stepped through the revolving doors and into the reception area.
"Hi I'm Psyprass and this is Tatsumi. I believe we are in apartment 18, here are our details." Psyprass told the receptionist as she handed the papers over.
"Okay, sure. Here are the keys. I hope you have a nice life in these apartments. There is a party tonight for you in apartment 10. You also have to opportunity to meet them earlier if you want. Your floor has the more social people on it. Have a nice day." The receptionist said as she smiled.
Tatsumi and Psyprass went up the lift to their apartment. Tatsumi opened the door and flicked on the lights.
"Oh! It's nice!" Psyprass exclaimed as she looked around the empty room.
"Okay Psyprass you can call it nice, but I think it's extremely plain. I can't wait to get painting." Tatsumi said as she placed her backpack on the bench and took out her mobile. Psyprass took the car keys and went down stairs to collect some of the really important items. She checked her watch. 4:00 pm.
"That's enough time for the removal guys to come with our stuff." Psyprass said to herself out loud.
Meanwhile Tatsumi was upstairs playing with the intercom on the wall, she had rung the pizza shop earlier to deliver pizza to their apartment.
Psyprass suddenly came into the room holding bags in both arms.
"You can get the rest, I'll put these away." She told her friend.
"Okay. It's nearly 5:00 and dinner will be here soon. And by dinner I mean pizza." Tatsumi said as she took the keys from Psyprass and left the apartment.
* * * * * * * * When Tatsumi was in the darkening car park, about to leave with her arms full of heavy bags, a guy that looked vaguely familiar and cute came up to her and asked if she needed help. She noticed that he was well built and was even cuter up close.
"Uh, yeah. Sure." Tatsumi said, grasping for words.
"It can't be Trunks." She told herself. It's not!
"I'm Boxie. It's a nickname you know, not my real name, I call myself Josh, but I prefer Boxie. You'll know my real, real name when I know you better. So are you my new neighbour?" Boxie said as he took all the heavy bags Tatsumi was carrying with slight ease into his own arms.
"Yeah, and I'm Tatsumi. Pleased to meet you." Tatsumi said as she turned around to open the boot and get more bags out.
I don't believe this! He's a bit weird and he's so strong; he's carrying those bags like they weigh nothing! Even though they feel light, they are heavy. Tatsumi thought.
"Um Tatsumi, I can carry that for you too?" Boxie said as he took the bags that Tatsumi had just taken from the boot and piled it on the other ones. "See you up the top."
Tatsumi pinched herself to make sure she wasn?t dreaming it hurt so she wasn't. She had just met the legendary Trunks Briefs.
Boxie had gotten up to the floor with his apartment on and he called out for the help of his friend.
"HEY JACK! I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!"
A guy the same age as him opened the door to his apartment. Psyprass opened the door to see what all the fuss was about and her eyes met Jack's. Psyprass felt faint.
Boxie walked over to his apartment and handed half of the bags to Jack. Then they walked to Psyprass's apartment together. Psyprass also noticed that the bags were extremely heavy but Jack and Boxie had no trouble at all holding them. It was like they weighed nothing at all.
"Hi, I'm Psyprass, I take it you have met Tatsumi already." Psyprass said as she ushered Boxie and Jack inside. Even though she didn?t mean to, her hand accidentally came in contact with Jack's behind. She gasped as she realised what she had done.
"Hey! I know I'm hot, but we haven't even been properly introduced." Jack said in a voice that showed nothing but angriness. But deep down he was happy.
"I, I, I," Psyprass said as she raised her hand to her mouth, "I'm sorry! I really am! What have I done! What can I ever do to say I'm sorry?"
"Touch him some more! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!" Boxie laughed. Juunanagou scowled at him. Psyprass noticed for the first time that they both looked familiar.
"Hey Psyprass, I got here as soon as I could. Hey who's your friend Josh?" Tatsumi said as she entered the room and stood in the doorway.
"Uh, he's the guy I live with. Well here's your stuff. See you later." Trunks said as he and Jack put the bags down and left the room.
"Wait! I still don't know your names!" Psyprass said as she tried to catch Jack's sleeve, but he had closed the door about a split second earlier.
"Oh, Psyprass. That was Boxie, or Josh and Jack. Our next door neighbours." Tatsumi explained.
"Boxie and Jack my bum! They were Trunks and Juunanagou! I know it! And to make it even worse, my hand came in contact with Junnanagou's, ahem, oshiri." Psyprass said.
"His bum? Oh Psyprass!" Tatsumi giggled as she hugged her embarrassed friend.
"I think I need to lie down Tatsumi. I woke up at exactly 5:00 am this morning. I'm so tired!" Psyprass said as she sat down on the pile of bags containing only clothes near the bench and fell asleep.
"Order of pizza for apartment 18 at the reception." The intercom on the wall crackled.
Tatsumi left the sleeping Psyprass on the floor and went to collect the pizza and pay for it. Then she came back up to the apartment and put the pizza on the bench and ate some. She then took the bags and boxes Psyprass was not sleeping on and put them in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and laundry.
