The unknown characters are mine. Rating: R Notes: What happens when some girls meet their favourite anime characters for real? "The Answer to Our Lives" Author: Tatsumi_Hiryuu Chapter 4 On the couch, Psyprass was talking to Tatsumi.
"Psyprass! You and Jack? Oh my gosh! That was intense, then it got all slow. What happened?" Tatsumi asked.
"Uh well, we got bored." Psyprass lied. She sighed, she hated lying and she felt like she needed an apple. As Calisto was coming back over to the couch to sit down she passed Azana. He was just waking up and he looked spaced out, then he grew a weird look on his face. A plan was forming in his evil mind. He walked over to Calisto and asked in a strangely nice voice,
"Would you care to dance with me Calisto?" Calisto's face turned a greenish colour.
"Uh, no I don't care okay? You make me sick!" she tried to get away from the couch but Azana grabbed her arm. Calisto shrieked.
"Come on! It won't kill you!" Azana said as he gripped her arm even tighter.
"ARE YOU INSANE? LET GO OF ME YOU FREAK!" Calisto screamed as she tried to shake Azana off her arm.
"I am not insane Calisto! Is it just so wrong that I want to dance with you?" Azana asked as he finally let go of Calisto's arm. Tatsumi and Psyprass quietly got off the couch and went over to the refreshment table. Tatsumi took a drink and sat down next to Trunks on another couch and Psyprass went into the kitchen for an apple and came out with Juunanagou.
Azana dragged Calisto onto the dance floor, a hip-hop song was playing and Azana was dancing like there was no tomorrow, Calisto on the other hand was standing still with her back to Azana. Psyprass had pulled Juu onto the dance floor and they started to dance like Azana but in actual fact it was pretty damn intimate.
"So are you an android Jack?" Psyprass asked.
"Please, you can call me 17 or Juu if you want. To answer your question, I am an android, well a cyborg, half human half android. It's kind of cool but you can't die and I could go through many lifetimes and lose my loved ones but I'd live on. I hate that. I wish I was human, but that would never work." Juu replied.
"Really? I never knew you felt that way. But anyway I am an expert at technology and I might be able to help you identify which parts of you are human and which parts aren't." Psyprass said.
"I know what parts are human already. And I think I have the ability to?uh do stuff humans can do." He laughed softly to cover what he had just said.
"Yeah? Well I'm not human either." Psyprass said as she moved closer.
"So, are you an android? Or an alien?" Juunanagou asked.
"I'm not exactly sure." Psyprass lied.
"Oh come on, you can tell me." Juu said.
"No I can't. I'm sorry Juu, but I can't.' Psyprass replied. This shocked Juunanagou.
"I told you that I'm an android, but you're still shrouded in mystery." Juu said, as he looked Psyprass in the eyes.
"But Juu isn't that supposed to be good?" Psyprass asked.
"No, it's just that I poured out that I was an android and you just tell me nothing. I thought lovers?" Juunanagou stopped dancing and let go of Psyprass.
"I didn't say that." He said, as he looked away, his face red with embarrassment.
"Androids get embarrassed? Wow that new!" Tatsumi said as she took another sip of her drink.
"Yeah that is new!" Trunks agreed.
"Oh Juu!" Psyprass said as she flung her arms around Juunanagou.
"Uh, what's wrong Psyprass?" he asked.
"Oh, nothing. It's just that?"
"Do you want to...uh go out with me?" Juunana asked.
Tatsumi and Trunks looked at each other, mouths full of drink. They swallowed at the same time and they looked back at Juunana and Psyprass as Tatsumi said, "We have to see this! They are so gonna kiss'
"Yes I do and I promise I'll tell you more when?" Psyprass started to say but she was stopped as soon as Juu's lips met hers.
Calisto looked over at Psyprass and Juunanagou and pulled a face.
"I?m going to be sick!" she yelled.
"I can't believe it! I made a good match!" Azana said disbelievingly.
"Oh please, even I know that they were in love before they met you! And why did you want to dance with me?" Calisto said.
"Oh I just wanted to see if you dance as bad as you look." Azana said with a smirk on his face.
"YOU B*******!" Calisto screamed as she slapped Azana across the face and stormed off into the kitchen.
Juunanagou finally let go of Psyprass to find that everyone
had been watching. He led Psyprass over to the stereo and put on some
more songs. Azana was left all alone in the middle of the dance floor
and he felt like everyone had see what had happened between him and
Calisto. He felt the side of his face and went into the bathroom to
check it out. "Okay then. That was interesting. I only wish I had my camera, there were a heap of Kodak moments in the last couple of minutes." Tatsumi said.
"Yeah. That was unbelievable! Come on lets get some food I'm hungry and I'm sure you are too." Trunks replied.
Trunks and Tatsumi walked into the kitchen to see Calisto fuming.
"Uh Calisto?" Tatsumi said.
"I HATE him! I really do! He said ?' I just wanted to see if you dance as bad as you look'. He has some nerve to say that to me! That, that THING!" Calisto said angrily as she strangled the banana she had been eating.
"Uh? can I do anything to help?" Trunks asked.
"PLEASE! Can you just leave me alone? I don't have anything against you Boxie; it's just that you are a guy. And at the moment I just wish all guys would go to hell!" Calisto yelled.
"Okay! Sorry!" Trunks yelped as he left the room. Tatsumi left too.
Meanwhile Azana was in the bathroom looking at his rapidly swelling face. Why am I getting myself into this?
"Ow!" he yelped as he touched his aching face. "Who the hell does that dumb blonde think I am anyway? Damn you Kenji! Why do you have to be my stupid identical twin?"
Back in the kitchen, Calisto had her back to the fridge and she had gone through most of the fruit bowl, leaving the red apples for Psyprass. She was thinking how familiar Azana was, but what an attitude problem. She wished he was't a b******* at all.
"More like Kenji.? "She said out loud.
"Like WHO?" Azana asked as he dropped the ice pack he had just gotten from the freezer and walked into Calisto's line of sight. She turned her head away.
"I refuse to talk to you until you apologise. Then I might tell you what I said." She sniffed.
"You said Kenji didn't you?" Azana asked in a worried voice.
"Yeah, Kenji Sketchit from a TV show. Now leave me alone!" Calisto said as she got up from the table and started to walk out the door. Azana ran out in front of her, picked up his ice pack, put it to his face and stood in front of the door.
"Calisto, Kenji is real okay?? Azana said.
"YOU?RE?" Calisto started to say, then she looked Azana up and down and realise that he looked a hell of a lot like Kenji.
"I'm his twin brother okay? I live in this apartment with our sister who luckily is away on a holiday. Kenji lives in apartment 19 with a friend and his girlfriend. I forgot their names but they're nice." Azana stopped because Calisto's face slumped.
"So he has a girlfriend?" she asked.
"No, his friend does, so you do have a soft side after all." Azana smiled. Calisto frowned and said,
"No actually. I don't have a soft side. I'm not an ice-cream." Then she left the room and walked onto the dance floor, the music was blaring and Juunanagou and Psyprass were sitting on a couch and Tatsumi and Trunks were at the refreshment table.
It was a wonder how Calisto could hear a faint knocking on the front door, she wondered if she was hearing things until Psyprass looked around then looked at the door, So, she can hear it too. Calisto thought.
The person knocked again, so Calisto walked up to the door and opened it.
"Hi, I'm Kenji Sketchit. My brother sent me down here to meet Calisto. Is she here? By the way I like your hair." Kenji said as he stood in the doorway.
"Thanks." Calisto smiled. It really is Kenji!
"Well who are you?" Kenji asked.
"Uh! Sorry! I'm Calisto Lugiana."
"Really? You're Calisto? Wow! Most of the girls Azana wants me to meet are rejects even from planet ugly. But you...you're beautiful." Kenji said after he had looked Calisto up and down. Calisto smiled on the inside. She put a hand on Kenji?s shoulder and led him inside being careful not to usher him in like Psyprass. Kenji looked around after Calisto had closed the door. The music was still pumping out of the speakers so no one could hear them, they didn?t even bother to look up. So Calisto walked over to the stereo and turned the volume right down.
"Tatsumi! Psyprass! Jack! Boxie! Hello?" Calisto yelled to get the attention of her friends.
Tatsumi looked over at the door and spat out her drink, Psyprass gasped as she looked at Tracey and Juunanagou and Trunks just looked over at the door as cool as cucumbers.
"What the hell?" Tatsumi asked as she wiped her mouth.
"Hi, I'm Todd." Kenji lied. Tatsumi just gaped as she walked up to him.
"YOU LOOK LIKE AZANA!" she yelped as she stepped back.
"Well dur I'm his twin brother you dope!" Azana yelled from inside his room.
"Oh, okay. I get it now. You're the guy Boxie and Jack were talking about before!" Tatsumi said.
"Boxie and Jack? What did they say?" Tracey asked.
"I was going to say Azana does body building unlike you. But the girls hadn't met you yet so we kept it a secret." Juunana explained.
"Todd, did you know that you don't look like a Todd?" Tatsumi asked.
"Well, uh? I?"Tracey sputtered trying to hide the fact that he was actually a Kenji not a Todd.
"Tatsumi, stop embarrassing yourself and come with me." Psyprass said as she got up and pulled Tatsumi over to the empty couch and made her sit down. Juunanagou went over to the stereo and turned the music up only to find that the CD had stopped. Trunks shook his head and went to the bathroom.
"Well I guess you're probably hungry." Calisto said as she walked over to the refreshment table, Kenji followed her. He felt like a puppy following his owner, he sighed but continued to follow her.
"Thanks. So what are your interests?" Kenji asked as he took a handful of chips from the bowl Calisto had offered to him.
"Well, I don't know really, I like many things. What do you like to do?" Calisto asked as she took some chips and started munching away.
"I sketch pictures, I like eating and well I like living in these apartments and meeting people." Kenji said.
"Kenji, I think you're nicer than that brother of yours Azana. He called me a dumb blonde." Calisto said as she turned away and looked at the floor.
"Really? Calisto, he's just a bum. You aren't dumb. What does he know anyway?" Kenji asked as he put his hands on Calisto's shoulders.
"I've known him for a while. Psyprass, the girl with the green gem on her head and Tatsumi, the girl with the scar over her left eye, they didn't know that I knew him." Calisto replied.
"Yeah, Azana said he's known you for ages." Kenji said. "I knocked him out earlier." Calisto said as she turned around and found herself in Kenji's arms. She gasped.
"Hey! Look at that Psyprass! Calisto and Todd are getting all raunchy." Tatsumi said as she nodded over in Kenji and Calisto's direction. Kenji's hands were moving from her shoulders to waist, and then Calisto grabbed them to stop them going any further.
"Tatsumi, I know you want Trunks to feel you, just stop looking at them, and stop fantasising it's you and Trunks." Psyprass said, as she paid no attention to the goggle eyed Tatsumi.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Calisto asked as she twisted out of Kenji's grip. She stepped back.
"Am I doing something wrong?" Kenji asked.
"Yes and no." Calisto replied as she walked over to Psyprass and Tatsumi, leaving Kenji gripping the air.
"Calisto! Why did you do that" Tatsumi asked, as she looked from Calisto to the distraught Kenji. Calisto shrugged and went over to Juunanagou, said something, then went into the kitchen. Tatsumi felt extremely sorry for poor Kenji, so she went over to comfort him. She had no idea why Calisto had gone off. "So Todd, what happened?" Tatsumi asked as she walked up to Kenji.
"Uh? don't worry about me. We'll sort it out." Kenji said reassuringly as he went into another room.
"Okay." Tatsumi beamed as she walked over to Psyprass. The smile quickly disappeared as she met Psyprass?s grim face.
"There's something strange going on here, I can feel it." Tatsumi said.
"Yeah I can feel it too. It's really weird. Hey, hasn't Trunks been gone for a while?" Psyprass said.
"Yeah, come to think of it, he has! I'm so stupid, I'm continually thinking about him that I don't even notice when he?s gone!" Tatsumi said.
"Yeah, well I've got to go talk to Juu for a sec. I'll be back." Psyprass said as she walked over to Juunanagou.
"Hey Juunana! Can I request a song for a good friend of mine" Tatsumi loves the song, "Everybody Dance Now", so could you please play it for her?" Then Psyprass leaned in and whispered something that made Juunanagou feel weird. He nodded and relied,
"When do I play the song?"
"Oh? you can play it now. I think she feels sad. Hey, how come you aren't playing Calisto's song?"Psyprass asked as she took her cup from the table next to the stereo.
"Calisto didn't request a song. She wanted to know where something was." Juunanagou replied.
"Okay, thankyou. Do you want to dance?" Psyprass asked.
:"Nah, you two can some fun dancing. Now where's
Trunks got to? I need to? hmmm... speak to him about my sound system."
Juunana replied as he pressed play on the stereo
