The unknown characters are mine. Rating: R Notes: What happens when some girls meet their favourite anime characters for real? "The Answer to Our Lives" Author: Tatsumi_Hiryuu Chapter 5 The sound of C&C Music Factory blasted through the speakers. Tatsumi turned around to see Psyprass smiling. She couldn?t resist the urge to start dancing. Psyprass walked over to her bud and they started to bob to the beat. Tatsumi pretended to sing, and imitated the singer. Psyprass started laughing, when suddenly, the power cut out. Tatsumi felt the coolness of a blade against her throat. She tried to scream, but a hand clamped over her mouth.
Psyprass could sense she was in danger, but she could do nothing about it when she was bound and gagged and thrown into a corner.
"Psyprass! Tatsumi! Are you two okay?" Juu yelled as he tried to fend off the thugs. Psyprass let out a muffled yell and felt someone, or something crash into her.
"Hey! That hurt you know!" Juunana yelled. Psyprass cringed, Why did he have to yell? She bit at the foul tasting gag and ripped it off with her teeth.
"Juu! It's me! Psyprass." She whispered.
"Oh, Psyprass. Where are you?" Juunanagou asked as he wiggled around, trying to break free.
"I'm under you. Where's Tatsumi? Where?s Calisto? I?m scared Juu!" Psyprass wailed. Juunana broke the strong ropes that bound him and felt around for Psyprass. His hand swept over something lumpy.
"HEY!!!!!! DON?T TOUCH ME THERE!" Psyprass yelled. Juunanagou quickly withdrew his hand as he realised what the lumpy things were.
"I'm sorry. Where's your head?" Juu asked as he leaned over. Psyprass could feel his breath on her face.
"My head? It's under yours, and I can't move because I'm still tied up and your sitting on me!" Psyprass exclaimed.
Suddenly, the power was restored, but the music had stopped. Juu looked straight into Psyprass?s eyes.
"Uh, hi.?" He said, and then he rolled off Psyprass and onto the floor. He started untying the ropes that bound her.
After the ropes were removed, she sat up and gasped.
"Oh no! Oh no, oh no, oh no!?"She whimpered as she looked over at the front door. It was open and a pool of deep red looking stuff was in front of it.
Suddenly there was a creaking noise, Psyprass looked around and saw that Azana?s door was open, but it had not made the creak, then she looked to the door of the first room they had entered, the door was moving a bit. She jumped up into a fighting stance, and Juunana followed her actions.
"Are you okay?" Juunanagou asked.
"Yeah. We need to find out who or what made that noise. I can sense only one power level and it?s coming from the room with the creaky door." Psyprass said.
"Really? Oh yeah, I can only just feel it; it might be Todd, or someone who knows how to hide their power level. I just did'?t think anyone could do that anymore." Juunana said.
"Yeah. Hey, Calisto and Trunks left a while ago. Calisto left after leaving you. Where or what was the thing she wanted to know?" Psyprass asked as she looked around, ready for anything.
"Well, Calisto was looking for a quick way to get out of the apartment. I told her that there was a trapdoor in the kitchen. There's another one in the bathroom. My bet is Trunks went then. But the question is: Why did they sense it before us? Is it because we're androids?" Juunana asked.
"Hey, who said I'm an android?" Psyprass asked as she turned away form the room.
"I haven't felt a power source coming from you and I assumed you were like me. Unable to be sensed manually." Juu replied.
"I can't hide it from you anymore. I am an android; I was created in a laboratory and I have to trust you with this because not even Tatsumi knows." Psyprass said as she turned back towards the door. Juunanagou stepped forward.
"I kinda knew when we were dancing earlier, when I leaned forward do grab you and you moved away, that was so quick and I didn't know that was coming. I was surprised that you could move like that. I mean, your dance moves were like a style of martial arts I know." Juunana said.
"Really?" Psyprass asked as she turned to face her boyfriend.
"Uh hello? Is anyone out there or am I just imagining voices?" a muffled sounding person asked.
"Todd is that you?" Psyprass asked as she walked to the door of the other room.
"Psyprass! Be careful!" Juunanagou warned as he followed Psyprass.
"Psyprass? Yeah it's me Todd." Kenji replied from inside the room. Psyprass opened the door.
"It's okay, you can come out now." She said as she slipped inside the room to see Kenji sitting on the floor in a foetal position.
"Where are Calisto, and Tatsumi?" Kenji asked as Juunanagou helped him up.
"Uhh, well. I'm not really sure." Juunana replied.
"Yeah, and there's blood in front of the front door. I don't know, or want to know who it belongs to." Psyprass added.
They left the room and Psyprass looked at the blood, it was a deep red colour and it was still wet looking. She looked out the door and into the hallway, there were more spots dotting the carpet all the way to the stairs.
"There's some more blood this way. Some one was injured pretty damn bad." She said as she stepped over the huge puddle and into the hallway. Juunanagou and Kenji followed. The trio followed the blood trail until they reached the stairs. The trail had appeared to stop, but as Psyprass looked closely at the steps she saw that whatever had been bleeding had been dragged down the stairs.
"Yuck!" Kenji yelped as Psyprass crouched down and sniffed near the blood.
"Fresh." Was the only word uttered before she jumped down onto the next landing of the stairs and started running. Juunanagou and Kenji quickly followed.
"Psyprass! Slow down!" Kenji yelled as he stopped to take a breather and he leant on the wall. Suddenly he was grabbed from behind. He yelled.
"Shhh, Kenji! It's me! Calisto!" Calisto whispered. Kenji looked around.
"Where are we?" He asked, confused. Calisto laughed.
"Inside the wall, look you can see out from those holes. Oh yeah, whisper."
"But how did we get inside? The wall looks solid." Kenji whispered in awe as he was about to put his hand on the wall, but Calisto grabbed his wrist.
"Don't, it's a projector. I don't know why, but this place is full of surprises. Now I have to cut to the chase. The things that took Tatsumi, they're near here. They haven't got Trunks, he escaped a while back, and I think he's going to be mighty ticked off when he finds out that she's gone."
"But what I want to know is why they have Tatsumi." Kenji pondered.
"I'm not really sure, but they've separated all of us. Azana's by himself, Psyprass and Jack are following someone's blood, I think it's either the attackers or someone from our side like Tatsumi, Trunks or Azana."
Kenji was about to say something until they heard footsteps and heavy breathing up above them. Calisto pulled herself and Kenji into a small corner.
"Don't move or make a sound." Calisto breathed.
