12/20/04 Chapter One "Restless Dreams" Victor was standing on a balcony ledge, looking at the late December sky. He was staring at the stars. Recently he was spending alot of time star gazing. It wasn't as if he had never seen the stars, but he felt as if they were calling to him. It's colder than usual tonight, thought Victor. Four years have passed so quickly, it was like last week he met Pan for the first time, along with her friends, and was like yesterday when Daedalus came and told him about his races dark history. Deciding to let the past rest, he returned inside. Pan was a sleep on his bed, they had recently moved in tougher. Victor sat down next to her, she was asleep earlier than usual. Things had changed so rapidly over the last two years, he has already moved up in his relationship with Pan, relocated twice, had two different jobs, found out he was a prince of an extinct race, well all but extinct since he wasn't dead himself. However his dreams haven't been easy lately. They're usually about him fighting some man that looked alot like him, but was different. Deciding he'd better sleep to, Victor sat next to Pan and thought to himself some more. ~*O*~ "GOKU! IT'S NO USE! GET OUT OF THERE NOW! WE'LL HAVE TO REGROUP AND TRY AGAIN SOME OTHER TIME!" Raditz screamed out to baby brother who was doing battle with a new enemy. "I CAN'T! NOT YET! We've got to give Victor the time he needs!" Goku looked back seeing that his Kamehameha Wave x10 was unsuccessful in hurting the other man. "PATHETIC FOOL! YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO YOUR OWN BROTHER!" A fierce punch took Goku down to the ground where Raditz caught him. When Raditz looked up, he didn't see the man standing there above, but behind. Raditz realized that this was the end for him and his brother. "Good bye, my worthy adversaries. Your stories and lives will echo throughout time. ULTRA JAVELIN!" A blinding red light shot out of his hand and engulfed Goku and Raditz. Shimi was having another one of her horrible nightmares. Raditz was immediately woken up by her breathing and screaming. He too was having nightmares, alot more than he ever did before in his life. “SHIMI! WAKE UP!" Raditz said stroking Shimi's short brown hair back. Shimi's eyes shot open. She was crying again, Raditz hated to see her cry. Especially over nightmares and dreams since he no longer had the ability to chase away her demons. "Oh god, it happened again." Shimi said falling into Raditz's arms. "I know, I had the same dream again. What is going on here?" Raditz said trying to comfort Shimi. "I don't know, these dreams are all to real and vivid to be just dreams. Maybe they're premonitions about the future." Shimi said finally calming down. "DAMNIT! If only my father was here! He could foresee the future. Maybe Goku will know of why we're having these dreams as of lately." Raditz said laying down slowly with Shimi. "Yes, lets call him tomorrow. Raditz promise me something." Shimi said gazing back into Raditz's eyes. "What is it?" Raditz looked back staring into Shimi's glistened green eyes. "Promise me, if you think you and Goku are within deaths reach, no matter what you'll come back with him, okay?" "For you... of course." Raditz said embracing Shimi closer to him. Not wanting to lose her, for his dream's to seem all to real. Shimi had no difficulty putting a bear hug onto Raditz, her dream scared her more than anything in her recent memory. The sleept as close as they could. ~*O*~ Raditz feel back to sleep, however his dream would constantly repeat itself. In his dreams, things were different, he was his father and he was always fighting along side King Vegeta. "Bardock! What's happening here!? Where and how did this monster get here!" King Vegeta asked "I don't know your highness, but he's already killed and sent several demons and saiyans to the next life. BEHIND YOU!" Bardock fired his Riot Javelin at figure "Fool. When I defeat you, I'll make sure you still have a home. JUST LEAD ME TO THE DAMN CONNECTING POINT!" The monster said jumping towards Bardock and the King "NEVER! If you're here, then you're meant to be here and not back on Earth!" The saiyan king said as he blasted the monster, this time he was unphased. "Impudent fools." The monster swung again taking the king and Bardock out. "I pray your descendants are stronger than all of you." The monster said finding King Vegeta's hidden passage under neath his throne. "No..." was all Bardock and King Vegeta could say as they passed out. ~*O*~ Pan woke up to find Victor was also awake. "Is it time for you to goto to wake already Vic?" Pan said looking at him. "No. It's this damn dream I keep having is why I'm awake." Victor said embracing Pan "I know how you feel, I've been having the same reoccurring dream." Pan said sitting up on to Victors chest who had be laying with her. "They're not exactly nightmares, yet they seem to have that theme." Victor said kissing Pan "Really? What have you been dreaming?" Pan said looking into Victor's black eyes. "Well, every time I sleep I'm missing my left arm completely and I'm fighting some guy who looks alot like me, and it always ends the same. Me seeing a blinding flash of light. You're uncle's and grandpa were there to. They weren't faring to well, and this guy was apparent a swordsman, I saw his sword. But that's all I can remember, how about you?" Victor said running his hand down Pan's back "Every time I dream, I'm talking to this woman who has blonde hair yet she looked like she's related to you, along with another man. The other man I saw however, was in another dream before. He was tanned darker than you, has alot of scares and had a sword before, but now he's missing it. They keep talking in some language that I don't know. It's really weird." Pan said kissing Victors neck. "Very weird, I have a feeling something is going to happen to us soon." Victor said kissing Pan. Pan looked back into Victor's eyes. He was a little tired, those dreams were tough on him. Victor looked back to Pan's eyes and saw she too was tired. Victor turned the light off, and tried to go back to sleep. Victor wrapped his arms and his wings around Pan's body as she slept. ~*O*~ Majuub was at his Papaya Island home, this night was difficult on him. He was in particular affected by this dream. Majuub stood at the ocean, trying to clear his mind. His mentor Goku had taught him everything about fighting but didn't teach him about mental fights. This was something he had to do on his own. "God, I know you can hear me. Why is it I have these dreams? Are they a message?" Majuub looked into the night sky hoping to hear an answer. Majuub knew that God had a plan for everyone, and that some people's paths were easy and other's were harder like his. He was a devout believer in a higher power. He felt that perhaps humanity in general was starting to lose faith in God. He wouldn't lose faith in something as important. Majuub decided to make up his mind about one thing, since he was thinking about several. He decided to put the odd dreams on hold, and that he'd talk to Bulla and see how she felt about him. He really likes Vegeta's daughter but he wasn't sure at first how this would effect his friendship with the Brief family. The worst thing is that he felt strange around them. However Majuub didn't really think about his dream. Yet it was strange that his dream always had him sacrificing himself for Bulla. This is had troubled him, was a message from above? Or was it paranoia? Deciding not to think about it again, he decided to try to sleep again. ~*O*~ Victor was still asleep when Pan was awoken. Her odd dream had followed her into the day. She keep dreaming about this woman who looked vaguely like Victor, but wasn't exactly him and Dayvé was also there but they looked like they were arguing. She couldn't remember much of the dream. Pan looked down at Victor, he was so at peace. Victor awoke almost screaming, looking at Pan's peaceful and beautiful black eyes. Victor's nightmare's had started getting much more relentless. His dreams would keep him up most of the night. However since he was awake, he figured he'd make some coffee and call some people. For some reason he acting frantic. "This will probably be for the best". Victor thought as he got up to goto the phone. "What are you doing Vic?" Pan said sitting up, using Victor's blanket to cover her exposed body. "I don't know why, I feel I really got to call Raditz and Majuub. But let me make us some coffee first." VIctor got up, grabbed his house coat and left for the kitchen. Pan laid down for a moment, trying to make sense of her dreams. She was slowly beginning to understand Dayvé and the woman. But it was odd, she was referring to Dayvé as being dead for thousands of years, yet he looked very much alive. Pan got up, feeling sick once more. She knew now, without a doubt that she has Victor's child. She wasn't to worried, she knew Victor was the father and they had been married for almost a year. Victor could hear Pan from the kitchen, he felt really bad for her. Victor didn't know that he'd be a father. Pan just didn't tell him, she wanted that to be a surprise. Victor thought she had the flue or something, seeing he recently got over the flu himself. Victor decided that it would be better if he made her breakfast to, and decided putting of calling anyone untill later. ~*O*~ A ship was exiting the Asteroid belt and was starting to near Mars. It would only be a matter of time when Earth's satellites near Mars would pick up the ship. However that wouldn't stop the two aboard the ship. "Well, it seems we're nearing Earth. What do you think?" A woman turned around from her copilot chair. "I think this planet called "Earth" is our next destination, the radar says that we might find 'it' there. The radar hasn't been wrong in the past, has it Sha-keara." The male figure turned around to look at the woman. "Well Vincent, let's just not make a mistake. Remember what happened on QG132?" Sha-keara said to Vincent. "All to well, let's get be ready, we'll be there in 4 hours." Vincent said as be picked up this sheathed sword. Our future lies there. TO BE CONTINUED...
