Part 1

Summary: Gohan meets Videl at a picnic around age 11! About the time when her parents are violently slaughtered by an alien! Videl reveals a huge secret! Also Vegeta helps Videl through her problems along with Chichi! Videl is adopted by Chichi and Goku after the dragon refuses to grant their wish due to another's plea! But when hormones and lust get in the way? Will the two try to get together or be happy being close as brother and sister?

~So legends past on …. And heroes are forgotten … legends are lost… who made me and what did they make me for when there is a winner there always be a loser… war solves nothing… in the end both sides are the losers……. Everyone meets their better some time! Evil no time or season a hero must rise to a world with darkness troths and punish the minas of evil …. Are you gonna prove them RIGHT? …. Or WRONG? You do what is right maybe your voice isn't the loudest but it's the one you choose to listen to…. In the future, you will fall under the control of the star of darkness. I see blood, anger, and sadness -- the destruction of the equilibrium of everything in this world. On the day when the 18th star and moon come around, the fated time shall come to pass………….. Trust in your own powers... What ever happens now on... trust in your self and stand firm and face your destiny…… the night mare is only beginning…and so the legend begins…

~ CHAPTER ONE:

"A STRANGE AND MISTREIOS POWER…………."

"Daddy! Mommy!" a little girl with long black hair to her shoulders and dark cerulean eyes wearing a pink and red lace dress laughed.
"Oh, you!" a woman laughed with blonde hair tied her husband's tie.
"Thanks dear" the bulky man with a black afro laughed heartily kissing his wife on the lips and their daughter on the cheeks.
"I can't wait to go to the picnic! A quiet one since that saiyan thing" the woman sighed.
"So much publicity, popularity, fans all around and nagging reporters … this and that! Blah, blah, blah!" he said.
"Oh, my poor, poor Hurcule! I'm so sorry!" she said sarcastically with a laugh waving it off.
"Hared, har, har, Kikya" he said with a chuckle.
"Ok, ok! Let's EAT! I'm starving! I wanna go now before the PUBLIC and those NOSEY reporters came!" the girl yelled.
"Oh, Videl… calm down" Kikya laughed "Hurcule can you get your coat we'll meet you in the car!"
"Yes, dear… I'll be right back!"
"Said that an hour ago!" his wife muttered as he went up stairs.
"I heard that" e laughed.
"Yea, yea" she dryly said "Oh! DON'T GO FLEXING IN THE MIRROR AGAIN!"
"Riiiggggghhhhtttt!"
"GOOD!" she sighed "That man is worst than a woman! Three hours flexing? Come on now!"
"*IS it me? Or are my parents strange! I'm never bringing any friends over for Dende's sakes dad!*" Videl thought.

"Son Goku! Get over here! Your gonna make us late! Bulma and the gang are to arrive in ten minutes and for Dende's sake you only got you're under wear on! Geez man!" Chichi yelled.
"Mom, I'm ready!" eleven year old Gohan came in with blue shorts and a plain shirt.
"Good, at least one saiyan can get himself ready!' Chichi scolded entering her and Goku's bedroom as Gohan sighed hearing the doorbell and sensing the several ki's' outside the door.
"Truly, saved by the bell!" Gohan muttered "A day off from studying, a true miracle!"
"Hi, Gohan!" Krillin grinned holding a medium container.
Gohan shrugged "nothing much I suppose, Krillian" Krillian laughed ruffling Gohan's hair.
"Ready!" Goku chimed coming out in a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt.
"Finally, Goku! Honestly!" Bulma said holding Trunks whose eyes only danced about the room.
"Sorry, heh" Goku scratched his hair with a small nervous chuckle.
"Is everybody here?" Chichi came in wearing a purple dress and a green, light jacket over it.
"Yea, Vegeta's over by the tree sulking and scowling about 'why on the son of Namek he has to come'!" Bulma mocked Vegeta's voice doing a great impression and grinned as everyone laughed.
"*I'll get you woman for this! I mean KARORAT! You can't do worst!*" Vegeta thought.
"Where's all you guys food at?" Turtle asked.
"Capsule" Chichi stated.
"Cap---"
"Don't ask" she looked at Goku who chuckled softly and then Gohan who blushed all over.

"Well, this is beautiful!" Kikya looked at the cherry blossoms "And just in time for the cherry blossom season!"
"Yea! Mt. Pozou is quite some thing, eh Videl?" Hurcule asked.
"Well, finally you showed up!" a figure grinned.
"Who are you?" Kikya narrowed her eyes.
"Your worst nightmare!" the voice cackled.

"Whew tasty" Goku burped "Excuse me!" everyone laughed.
A huge explosion accorded a distance away alerting the Z-fighters as they sensed 2 ki's gone.
A little girl emerged running from the smoke her dress messed up and her face scratched as she collapsed crying.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Gohan came up to her "What happened to you?"
"Please …. You got to help! My mom and dad are---" she was cut off by a bigger explosion.
"Huh? What's going on over there?" Krillian looked to see the other explosion "I am seeing things?"
"MOMMA! DADDY!" she ran to the explosion and Gohan flowing close behind her.
Hurcule pushed Videl out of the way to absorb the blast full on as he exploded.
"NO! Daddy!" Videl cried.
Goku and the rest of the gang had arrived and tried to see what was all this about.
"Please stop! Please!" Kikya weakly stood "Leave her out of this!"
"Sorry, sweet heart! No can do!" The Z- fighter stood still, shock and stunned at who could do this to a family who did nothing to it.
Videl ran until she fell crying and crying still as Kikya fell to the ground with a thud barely moving.
She put her face on her mother's chest crying "Mother, please don't die! Please don't leave me all alone!"
"Sorry… guess we won't be making the sundae later huh, princess…"
"Mother, don't talk like that! We'll get a doctor and everything will be ok! Don't die! Don't go!"
"I'm sorry; I won't be there for you any more… I will always love you, Videl-Chan!" a tear fell down Kikya's face as she dropped her hand from Videl's cheek.
"Good bye sweet heart!" the beam went through her heart as she squirmed in the air and finally exploded as she screamed leaving smoke and bits of ashes.
Videl gasped it felt like she was too attacked, emotionally she had died and a part of her gone forever!
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Videl cried, tears streaming as she collapsed.
Everyone was spilling tears at this scene even Vegeta and Piccolo had a few tears go down put quickly rubbed it off.
"Your next little one!" the figure snickered and turned towards Videl.
Gohan was struggling to keep in control as tears streamed down this was like when Mr. Piccolo dided against Nappa, and when his father died too against Raditz!
"You jerk… I'll get you for that!" Gohan said watching Videl sob "RUUGH! THAT'S IT!" Gohan charged the figure in rage as to how some one could be so cruel and evil like that!

~It would seem that this figure has proven to be cold and ruthless, and maybe the world's newest and dangerous assassin. Maybe not a stretching of the truth!
