" TRUNKS & PAN .... A LOVE STORY "Written By: Debs-dragon Disclaimer: I still don't own these guys, as much as I wished I did. Chapter 14 Aftermath When they got back to the Capsule Corp the enormity of what had happened hit Pan and she began to sob uncontrollably. Trunks carried her upstairs & lay her on his bed. She clung to him sobbing into his chest. All Trunks could do was hold her. He stroked her head & rocked her gently in his arms. His heart was breaking with her pain. He shouldn't have left her alone, the anger started to swell in him again. If anything ever happened to her it would kill him. He couldn't bear it if she wasn't a part of his life. At last her sobbing slowed to sniffles and then to whimpering. Finally she relaxed & fell asleep in his arms. He lay her down & covered her over. He left her to sleep. Downstairs Bra had returned to normal and had done some fast explaining to Mike who was still pretty confused about all this Saiya-jin thing. He had a pretty good idea though of what Trunks was. Trunks appeared in the doorway. "You sure your okay Bra?" he asked. "I'm fine." she replied. "They only tried to kiss me, nothing more. Pan was the one that they tried to molest. Is she all right Trunks?" asked Bra with a quaver in her voice. "She's sleeping at the moment. She should feel better when she wakes up." replied Trunks. "I have explained to Mike about our family and us being half Saiya-jin. I had no choice after you went & powered up like that." said Bra. "It's okay, dont sweat it sis." said Trunks. "I had heard about these Z fighters, but I wasn't sure if they really existed or not." said Mike. "Yeah well, keep it to yourself please Mike." said Trunks. "Hey man, no problem, especially after what I've heard about your father." "He wont hurt you if you do the right thing." smiled Trunks. "Look Bra I have to go out for a while, could you keep an eye on Pan for me?" "Sure." said Bra. "Where are you going?" "I need to see Gohan & let him know what has happened." said Trunks. "Oh. Okay." said Bra. "Good luck." "Thanks." & Trunks flew off to Gohan
& Videls house. "And so thats what happened." said Trunks. "I appreciate you telling me this Trunks." said Gohan. "Well I thought it only fair that you should know in case it gets into the papers. I never thought about turning Super Saiya-jin until afterwards, I just saw red." Trunks hung his head. Gohan put his hand on his shoulder. "It's okay Trunks." he said. "Don't worry about it, I'm just glad you were there to protect my daughter for me." Trunks clenched his fists. " Yeah well I couldn't stand it if anything happened to her." Gohan looked closely at the young man before him. Love shone in his eyes whenever Pans name was mentioned. Vegetas son was a fine young man, Pan was a lucky girl to have someone this devoted to her thought Gohan. Trunks swallowed nervously, "Errr Gohan?" "Yes?" "Theres something else I would like to ask your permission for." said Trunks. "Okay Trunks, I'm all ears." Later as Trunks flew back to his home he knew now that there was no stopping him. He had the blessing he needed. Now he could lay his cards on the table and hope for the best.
