"WORDS CAN'T SAY"

Chapter One

"and one thousand" he managed to spit out after he reached his thousandth pushup on his pinky finger. He was completely exhausted seeing as he'd been in the gravity room for three days of constant training. Glistening beads of sweat tumbled down his muscular body hitting and defining each ridge of his physique as he stood up.

"Dammit!" he gruffed as he sensed her ki outside the door. It's not like Vegeta didn't like it when Bulma came to see him, it was just that e came to the Gravity Room to do just that, escape. He needed to be far away from her, at least until it was over. He really hadn't meant for his lips to touch hers that night. He wanted it for sure. Well, in all honesty it was her that he wanted but he knew he couldn't. He had pride and honour to uphold, he didn't want some weak human girl. Yet every single time he was with her, near her, he felt like he would cease to exist if he couldn't have her.

He shrugged off the thought and opened the door to see beautiful Bulma standing there. 'Why is she so beautiful?' Vegeta thought to himself when he took in her long legs and slim figure.

"What do you want woman?" he grunted.

"Just checking that you hadn't died" Bulma grinned sweetly. She was used to his Saiya-jin way of speaking to her. "Man Vegeta, you've been hiding in here for three days without food. What's the big deal?"

"I hide from nothing woman." He said sticking his nose up, "I'm training you know. Only trying to achieve my destiny of Super Saiya-jin."

"I forgot what a charmer you are in these last few peaceful days." Bulma said light-hearted.

"Well, if you're too busy I'll just go." She said beginning to walk away, "I doubt you care 'Oh Prince' but dinners made and it's those rolls you like. If you're not coming I'll just put yours in the fridge for later." She said very smugly.

'I am hungry.' he thought to himself. 'a quick meal won't interrupt training that much.' With that he headed off to the kitchen for dinner.

Vegeta knew deep down inside that he was lying to himself. He really went inside to be closer to Bulma, spend more time with her. He would never admit it to himself or anyone else for that matter but he found her to be very attractive. He simply loved to just watch her. Although, he never let her know he was. There always seemed to be some sort of excuse to his stare.

'It's just a stupid attraction. It's nothing.' He continuously lied to himself. He's through the deepest region of hell, too deep to ever care about another being besides himself. Why should he for that matter? No one has ever helped him through the bad times. No. He hated them all. Sometimes he didn't really know who "they" were but he was sure of one thing: he hated them all.

Meanwhile, Bulma was in the kitchen busily setting the table. Somehow, she knew he would come. This was he chance to ask him about that kiss. It had been so slow and yet so sudden all at the same time. As she reminisced about the kiss she remembered something, Vegeta hated questions. Especially questions about emotions, feelings or anything humane. No, no. She decided against it in a flash. Still, she was curious. She always had been when it came to Vegeta.

"He was all sweaty!" she giggled to herself.

She thought about his solid, muscular body when he had opened the Gravity Room door. "He looked so pumped," she thought. She actually always though he looked good, too bad he hater her. She thought they'd make the cutest
couple. 'But then, he used to be so evil' she thought to herself. 'Then again, he was forced to do most of those things.'. She confused herself. She decided just to daydream about the Saiya-jin Prince and what she knew she could never have with him. She grinned at the though and began to laugh.

"Care to enlighten me on what's so funny?" Vegeta said, standing beside her raising one eyebrow.

"Ah! Vegeta!" Bulma exclaimed. 'how long had he been there!' She had a worried look on her face. "Nothing." She replied after a long while.

"Here you go," she said handing him a plate. She grabbed her own and turned to see he had nearly finished; already.

"More." He mumbled through his stuffed mouth, handing his empty plate to Bulma.

"You sure are hungry." Bulma noted. Returning his plate freshly filled. She stared at him as he ate. Even stuffing his face, he was still gorgeous. She felt herself drift into another daydream.

"What are you doing?" Vegeta snapped, harshly bringing her to the world of reality.

Bulma ignored him. Hoping he wouldn't persist. That was the second daydream she'd been caught in, in the vicinity of 5 minutes.

"I asked you a question woman. Answers aren't optional where I come from." Vegeta said cleverly.

"Today they are." She said sharply seeing as she didn't want to tell him. "Why do you care anyways?" Bulma said, hoping to see if she could get an answer about the kiss through this very broad question.

"I don't," he said bluntly. He left the table and headed off to his room.

"Jerk." Bulma cursed under her breath, as she knew Saiya-jin's had excellent hearing. She was very irritated now, not being able to talk to Vegeta. She roughly started to clear the dishes when her front door crashed open.
