Episode 7 -Hold on Goten! The darkness envelopes all!

Goten, clutching his head, continued his breakdown. “Bastards! You all want to betray me! You all want to kill me!”

Vejita grimaced. “Kakarotto… this is bad.” Gokou swallowed hard.

“Goten! We don’t want to kill you!” Trunks pleaded. He began to walk towards Goten slowly. Goten either didn’t notice, or didn’t care.
The aura emanating of off Goten was changing. Dissipating at first before growing stronger, but now, once again, it was dissipating. Gokou and Vejita stood back while Trunks inched closer to Goten. When Trunks got within a meter of Goten, he stretched his arm out to touch his shoulder. Goten instinctively threw his own arm out, his elbow slamming into Trunks’ forearm, the damage evident by the popping and cracking sound it made, while his wrist crashed into the side of his head throwing him about ten meters.

Vejita flew at Goten throwing punches and kicks left and right. Gokou joined in, and the two quickly overpowered the younger Saiya-jin. Vejita’s right knee knocked Goten into the air after it rammed into his chin. Gokou zanzokened into the air in front of Goten, only to be caught of guard.

“Die.” Goten whispered as a ball of energy slammed into Gokou’s face throwing him not only into, but also through the floor of God’s palace! Vejita was fixated on Goten’s aura. He couldn’t believe how well Goten performed under pressure.

“Just like Kakarotto… he fights best when things look bleak for him…”

Down on the earth, Gohan and the rest of the Z-Senshi were focusing on the battle raging above them. Kuririn was the first to notice Gokou flying towards the ground.

“Gohan! Look it’s Gokou!”

Gohan turned his head around and Gokou caught his eye. Soon everyone was looking at him.
Pan was the first to act on this. “Grandpa! I’m coming!”

“Pan! No!” Gohan tried to stop her, but she had gone.

“Son Gohan…” Uubu said quietly. “I’ll go stop her…” Uubu followed. His ten years of training with Gokou had paid off and he caught up with Pan instantly.

Pan tried to ignore his staring but she couldn’t shake it off. “Don’t try and stop me Uubu! I have to save him!”

Uubu grabbed Pan’s shoulder. She hadn’t even noticed him catching up to her. She stopped suddenly, jerking back. “He doesn’t need your help… Look.”

Uubu was right. Gokou was now upturned to the right way and his arms and legs out in a star position. His eyes were still closed and Pan felt no ki from him. Without warning Gokou’s eyes shot open and he screamed, his whole body shuddered as the ki enveloped the entire area, stopping his decent with in less than half a second.

Pan stared at her grandfather. He didn’t even notice that everyone was watching. He turned his head back to the palace and Shunkan Idou back to it.

“Yaah!” Gokou kicked Goten in the back of the head throwing him into a pillar. Goten got back up. His aura increased more. As did his muscle tone.

“Idiot.” He muttered. His eye’s now had dark rings around them. “Zarak wanted the balls. They would allow him to join me when I reach the next level.”

“Well there are only two left.” Vejita smirked, and threw off a ki blast with no warning. Goten merely opened his mouth and the blast nullified.

“Wrong.” His voice was barely above a whisper, “you’re wrong. There are two sets on this planet…”

Azaelya stood watching the battle. “You don’t get it do you Zarak. He’s going to tell them everything. He’s going to kill himself. And probably us if he gets near us. I have to stop him!”

“Leave, if you must. But be warned. Return here and you will die. You will be a traitor. And I have no qualms of killing a traitor.”

“So Tetsujin was right… You don’t love.”

“I did. Then you got a personality.”

Azaelya turned to leave. And began to walk to the door. “I will stop you and your insane experiments… Puppet Master… Earth will wage war on you and I will help them.”

She opened the door and walked out. She had barely enough time to blink, let alone invade the attack, as a large fist slammed into her right cheek.

“And while I may allow you to leave… I can’t speak for everyone.” He walked over to her body and picked it up.

Outside of the ship a figure moved silently. Watching the remaining soldiers keep guard. Around one hundred and twenty-five… And they have around 4 of the Dragonball’s… Why must my past continue to haunt me? Then he noticed Tetsujin carry Azaelya from the ship entrance.

“Forgive me, my lady.” He dropped her body, causing her to land with a violent thud. “Do not kill her until she wakes up. Even then, give her a head start.”

The figure retreated further into the shadows.

Goten and Trunks were now hand to hand in midair. Trunks punched Goten, who dodged and grabbed Trunks left arm. Trunks threw his right hand down, braking Goten’s forearm. While Goten took in the pain and calmed himself, Trunks was moving his arms and powering up.

“Burning Attack!” The ball flew into Goten’s face, knocking him into the palace chamber.

Goten jumped up only to be grabbed by Vejita. He was powerless against what they did now. Trunks zanzokened right in front of Goten and delivered a barrage of punches into Goten’s chest. Trunks embedded his fist into Goten stomach. Blood trickled down his chin. Trunks followed up with some knees.

“Father.” Trunks said calmly, then nodded. Trunks began to charge up a powerful ball of energy into Goten’s stomach. Just as Vejita zanzokened away, it exploded. Goten fell lifelessly to the floor.

Gokou began to run towards him but he was stopped by a figure they had not seen in many years…

At Zarak’s ship Azaelya began to convulse. Pain writhed through her body as her muscle mass began to increase then returned to normal. When the convulsions stopped, her mouth was dry, and the dust whipped her face. She made a few groans as she struggled to her knees. She pushed her hands on the ground to lift herself up but was stopped by the energy being charged up on a soldier’s hand.

“I don’t think you want to do that. Tetsujin told you to give her a head start.” Ojuohsib said walking down from the ship entrance. “And judging from how ****ed off he is after seeing Goten being beaten to unconsciousness, he’ll probably want to do it himself.”

The soldier saw what was going to happen. Nenuohsib was a master of the Electro-whip, but Ojuohsib was a master of the sword. “Please! My lady! Don’t-” She ignited the blue blade, the electricity wrapped around her arm as she swung it through his neck slicing his head clean off.

“If anyone else wants to live continue searching for the other Dragonball’s.” She looked down at Azaelya. “You could have had everything. You could have been a God all you had to was crush your conscience until the experiment was complete. But you gave in…”

Azaelya grinned as she raised her body. “I could have had him you mean.” Rage flashed threw Ojuohsib’s mind, but before she could bring the sword down onto Azaelya she calmed herself. “Instead you had to settle for second prize.” That was not going to be tolerated though.
Azaelya rolled out of the way of the sword. She jumped up, landing on all fours, like a cat defending itself. She slammed her fist into a rock, and lifted it up. She threw it at an immense speed. Ojuohsib protected her face by holding the sword directly in front of her. While the rubble was clearing she charged at Azaelya preparing to bring her sword into her neck! Azaelya bought her fist right into Ojuohsib’s chin as the blade neared her neck. As she was thrown back she picked up a shard of rock, and threw it before Azaelya even noticed! It tore into her left ribs causing a small squirt of blood to emerge from her mouth.

Gripping the rock shard she grimaced, as she ripped it from her body, more blood flowing out. “I knew you weren’t prepared to here it.”

“You ****ing slut! I’ll rip out your ****ing eyes!” Ojuohsib had dropped the sword by now and lunged at Azaelya. Just as they came into contact, two thin beams blasted into the left sides of Azaelya and Ojuohsib. Blood splattered onto the floor. Both rolled around on the floor in pain. Azaelya was beginning to lose her vision from loss of blood. The figure that had fired at them then fired a thin beam surrounded by coils of energy.

“Mankankasoppo!” The beam ripped through the front of the ship.

Meanwhile, the Z-Senshi all waited for more to be happening. Gohan was the first to notice the familiar ki signal on God’s Palace. His face lit up. “That’s… Come on we have to go! Goten’s been defeated!”

“What? That’s great!” Yamucha cried.
“Shut up Yamucha. Weakling. You don’t understand. If he is dead we won’t know how or why he did what he did.” Juunanagou sneered. He walked over to Juuhachigou. “I’ll see you later, okay?” She nodded in reply, before he flew off.

“Come on! Hurry! Hurry up!” Gohan called. He Pan, Uubu, Tenshinhan and Kuririn were already on their way. Juuhachigou was next to leave, then Mr. Buu and Yamucha.

Gokou stood in front of the familiar figure, a look of disbelief etched onto his face, mixed in with some happiness, anger and grief. “It’s been a while. Kibitoshin-sama.”

The white skinned being smiled and raised his hand in a peace sign. “You know I am Kaiobito-sama.”

Vejita interrupted with a displeased look on his face. “It doesn’t matter what you feel you should be called. You owe us enough to let us call you the first name that comes into our head.” He noticed Gohan and the rest of the Z-Senshi landing. “If you’re here to take Goten on a spiritual journey and heal him, to bad. He has to die.”

“I know that. And I’m very happy to watch him die. That’s why I’m here. To carry it out.” Kibitoshin said. Everyone was shocked. The normally docile being was now prepared to take the life of a person who had helped so much in the battle against Buu.

“No!” Gokou cried. “I don’t want him to die. We can save him.”

Kibitoshin turned to face Gokou. He was fully prepared for this outburst from Gokou. He threw a fist into Gokou’s stomach in an attempt to knock him out. What he hadn’t prepared for was an extra ten years of intense training. His punch barely stunned Gokou.

Uubu appeared next to Gokou. “I fully support Gokou. I don’t feel Goten needs to be killed.”

“You needn’t be concerned Buu.”

This statement shocked everyone except Vejita.

Pan wasn’t prepared to believe it. “Uubu is not this Buu thing everyone fought ten years ago! He’s a decent guy!” She had spent a day alone with him guarding their Dragonball and had grown quite fond of him.

Uubu looked at the ground. “I… I… I…” He could say nothing more. He didn’t know what was true and what wasn’t.

Kibitoshin laughed. “So he hadn’t told any of you? I must say Gokou I’m surprised.”

Gokou’s eyes narrowed. “In ten years you’ve become pretty bitter Kibitoshin-sama.”

“You have to be when you watch over the entire universe.”

“So Rou-Dai-Kaioshin-sama gave you complete control?”

Kibitoshin just smiled the same eerie smile he gave when he and Gokou first met.
Vejita was growing agitated. He sighed a deep sigh he then pushed himself off the pillar he was leaning on. No one even noticed get up. Or zanzoken behind Kibitoshin and slam his flattened hand into his neck, knocking him unconscious.
Gokou gave a lopsided smile. “Vejita… You didn’t have to do that.”
Vejita smirked and gave a peace sign. “I wasn’t prepared to listen to his ego-inflating ******** anymore. I hope you’re right that Goten can be saved. If not I’ll be the first in line to kill him.”
Gokou nodded and turned to face everyone else. “Well, lets go back to Capsule Corp.”
Vejita grabbed Kibitoshin and slumped the body over his shoulder. Gohan did the same for Goten.
Zarak stood in the command room of the ship. His anger was greatly increasing, and his patience for Ojuohsib decreasing at a fast rate. She was taking her personal vendetta over his choice of Azaelya over her much to far. If she didn’t get her priorities straight soon she would be killed for treason. She had allowed his ship to be greatly damaged and compromised Azaelya’s plan to help Goten. He needed her to help him. He needed her to fight. He needed her to experience what Goten did naturally. Not only that but she’d caused the possibility of the Z-Senshi finding out everything. If his father ever discovered his failure. Well, he preferred not to think of that. Tetsujin’s loyalty had also been wavering; he was artificial in every way except for his heart, brain and lungs. Nenuohsib was the only loyal soldier left, except for his troops, but even that was probably only because of his lover for Ojuohsib.

A communications message beeped on the monitor. “Eh? Who’s it from?” Zarak’s eyes went wide with fear.

The message began to play in a monotone robotic voice. “Master Zarkon will be arriving in two weeks to request an audience with your perfect woman. And to see how your plans are coming along . There is no need for a reply. Cui signing off.”

The instant the message finished playing he threw cloak and armor off revealing a black jumpsuit with a gi over the top of it. “It’s over Earth! Now I will get what I want… And you all bow down to me!”
Hiya this Gokou! This is getting harder and harder to deal with. Now the Kaio’s are involved and Zarak’s just received word that his fathers coming, things could take a turn for the worse.
At least Goten can be saved…
Hopefully Trunks. But I hope that Azaelya planned on saving Goten for a reason and not to bring him back to Zarak… And just who is that person who stopped Ojuohsib and Azaelya from killing each other? It couldn’t be? Could it? Find out next time on Dragonball R: Truth revealed! A dark cloud rains on all!
