TITLE: Return of the Saiyan King
Back at the hospital... Vegeta: Well today is just full of surprises... So how long do we have till this one gets here? King Kai: I wouldnt get so cocky Vegeta. This is the real thing. Goku: Hey King Kai. Long time no see. Vegeta: Now isnt the best of times for a friendly chat Kakarot. So tell us what this thing is and when it will be getting here. King Kai: Thats no way to treat a King... You of all people should know that Vegeta... The creature that is heading for Earth is known as Pol-Arice and she is no wuss either. King Vegeta: I can vouch for that. It is a complete monster... Hideous and extremely powerful. King Kai: Well that just about sums her up... But hey... Who are you? Goku: This is Vegetas father... Which makes him the king of the saiyans. King Kai: Well thats interesting... I thought all of the remaining saiyans had died with the destruction of Vegeta. How did you survive? Vegeta: We dont have the time to go over all of this again. Could you please tell us when this thing will get here and what we should expect. King Kai: Well I must admit that you are right Vegeta, this is very serious... Pol-Arice is the mother of your old friend Frieza, not to mention her other son Cooler and her husband of whom you have all killed. Gohan: So I guess being a psychopath runs in Friezas family... King Kai: Well there is a significant difference between her and the rest of her family... She has reached a level of transformation, much higher then that of them. King Vegeta: You mean they could transform? Vegeta: Yes. They seem to be able to reach different stages, like a Super Saiyan. And they also gain a similar amount of power with each new form. Goku: So. How much further has she gone? King Kai: I am afraid I dont know. I was under the illusion that she had died, many years ago. Vegeta: And why is that? King Kai: Because she is nearly 3000 years old. Vegeta: You mean that this... Thing has been alive for 3000 years. And no one has taken a stand? King Kai: Thats not true. Many have challenged her, but all have failed. And after completing what she set out to, she seems to vanish without a trace. Vegeta: I find it hard to believe, that she can hide a power that large. Goku: Yeah. It is a little big to conceal. King Kai: From what I know, she goes into a deep trance. This seems to rejuvenate her body, and when she awakens, she is more powerful then ever. Goku: So she hasnt always been this powerful? King Kai: No. Only in the last 1000 years has she become a major threat. But it has been so long since I heard anything of her... I was under the impression that she had finally died. Vegeta: So you never told us about her? You do realize that we would have had longer to prepare, had you have told us of this potential threat. King Kai: I have already told you, I had no reason to believe she was still alive. Before now, that is. Vegeta: Well. Speaking of time... How long do we have, till this thing gets here? King Kai: Hmm... No more then three days. The group stare at each other in shock. Goku: Well. It looks like we has better be off then. I can sense Tien, Yamcha and Krillin heading for the hyperbolic time chamber. So I guess the best thing for us would be the gravity chamber that Vegeta and Trunks use. Vegeta: Yes. I hate to admit this... But it is blatantly obvious that none of us stand a chance against this thing. King Vegeta: You can lead the way. The group bid farewell to Chi-chi and Bulma, and head off, towards the Capsule Corp. At Capsule Corp... Goku: Well. First thing is first. We need some kind of battle plan. Vegeta: Yes. I thought about that on the way. I suggest that one of us travel into the future and bring back the Trunks of the other timeline. Goku: You think we will need him too? Gohan: Thats a good idea. I think I will go, so that Goten and Trunks get plenty of time to train. Vegeta throws Gohan a capsule. Vegeta: I trust you know how to use this? Gohan: Yeah, Bulma showed me how to work it, while I was a kid. Gohan throws the Capsule to the ground and jumps in. At the push of a button, lights flash on and off, and the engine begins to rev into action. The vehicle lifts off, and disappears into a cloud of smoke. Goku: Thats that. Now we can get down to some serious training. The remainders of the group nod in recognition and walk into the gravity chamber. Vegeta: I think that 700 X Earths gravity should be enough for starters.
