VEGETAS BUCKS NIGHT

Part 1

'Sorry Gohan but you cant come this time' said Goku, replacing his toothbrush in the holder and wiping his mouth. He walked through to the bedroom with Gohan in tow,

'It's okay Dad, I don't mind. I'll stay home and look after Mom & Bulma.' said Gohan.

'That's my boy.' said Goku 'Now see if you can find my boots for me, Piccolo & Krillin will be here in a moment and I'm only half dressed.'

Gohan ran off to look for his fathers boots thinking & wishing that he was old enough to go with them to the night club & celebrate Vegetas bucks night. He finally found his Dads boots under the newspapers in the laundry and was carrying them out when the door bell rang. Gohan opened the door, Piccolo & Krillin stood on the step.

'Yo there little bro' said Krillin 'Hows it going?'

'Hey Krillin.....Piccolo.....good to see you both again.' said Gohan 'Come in, dads nearly ready. The others are'nt here yet but they shouldn't be long.' Krillin & Piccolo followed Gohan into the lounge and sat down.

'Gohan!....Gohan!... did you find my boots?" called Goku. 'Oh hi guys.' said Goku, walking into the lounge. 'I thought I heard the door bell.

'Heres your boots Dad.' said Gohan.

'Thanks' said Goku & put them on. 'Vegeta, Bulma & Master Roshi should be here any minute.' said Goku. No sooner were the words out of his mouth than there was a screech, bang then silence heard from out the front. 'Yep, sounds like them now.' said Goku.

Chi Chi answered the door, 'Come in.....come in...' she said.

'It's all your blasted fault!' Vegetas voice boomed, 'Why we cant just fly instead of taking the car!'

'Now listen here' said Bulma, 'You know I cant fly , you have promised me several times you will teach me and as yet you still havent so if you think you are going to take me home in the air after you have had a few drinks you have another thing coming. I havent forgotten the last time you pulled that stunt.'

Vegeta raised his eyes 'Enough woman!' he said, 'Kakarot are you ready? If so lets get going!'

'Hi Bulma....Bye Bulma......' said Krillin, Piccolo and Goku as they filed past and out the front door.

'Now you guys remember to behave yourselves and don't go doing anything bad to Vegeta' called Chi Chi.

'No you look after my Veggy for me.' said Bulma.

'But out woman!!' growled Vegeta 'I can look after myself!'

'We will take care of him Bulma.' said Goku.

The friends all went out to the car where Master Roshi, having removed the car from the tree in which Bulma had parked it, was waiting. 'At last.' he said. 'I was beginning to think that we would never get to the night club.'

'Bulma was giving Vegeta last minute orders about no drinking & flying after last time.' said Krillin.

'Hey, what did happen the last time you had a couple and flew home Vegeta?' asked Goku.

"Mind your own business Kakarot." said Vegeta

From what I heard he did some tree pruning & landscape gardening.' said Krillin.

'I thought Bulma would appreciate you doing something nice in the garden department for her. ' said Goku.

'Humph' grunted Vegeta.

'Not if the trees were in the state forest and the landscaping involved the local mountain range, and you use your fiancés body as well as your own to do it with.' said Krillin. 'So Bulma told me, it took weeks to get rid of the splinters and gravel rash!'

'That's enough!!' said Vegeta. ' It wasn't my fault that my aerodynamics got a bit screwed after a couple of scotch & cokes."

"Oh well, you can let your hair down tonight Vegeta, I'm only drinking orange juice so I can fly you home.' said Goku. 'You may as well make the most of your last couple of days as a single saiyan , besides Chi Chi would kill me if I let anything happen to you.'

'I don't need wet nursing Kakarot!' said Vegeta. 'If I want to drink & fly then I will and no one will stop me.'

"Okay...Okay...' said Goku. "Its your funeral.'

'Thank goodness we Nameks don't have relationships, marriage or love .' said Piccolo. 'Its way too complicated for me.'

"Take advice from the master Piccolo.' said Master Roshi. 'You are much better off playing the field but not getting planted.'

'I wouldn't mind getting planted.' said Krillin.

"Enough already!!!" shouted Vegeta. 'Look you lot I only have a couple of days of total freedom left before the wedding and I would like to make the most of them, so do me a favour, lets just get smashed!!!'

'Okay Guys, we're here.' said Master Roshi, pulling into a parking spot. They all got out of the car and made their way to the entrance. 'Now just remember boys, no pulling any fancy stuff in here. We are just out for a few drinks and a chat about old times. Okay?'

'Okay" they all replied.

They found a table in the corner which Master Roshi deemed to be ideal. It was close enough to see the girls dancing, near enough to the bar, yet in the shadows so they wouldn't be conspicuous, especially if the guys start to get a bit rowdy & turn super saiyan or even worse Piccolos ears became visible. Goku came back with the drinks,

'Orange juice for me, Grasshopper for Piccolo, Beer for Krillin & Master Roshi and a scotch for Vegeta.' said Goku. 'Cheers all & heres to your last days of freedom Vegeta.' said Goku.

'Cheers.' They all said and raised their glasses.

The night progressed steadily with Master Roshi managing to chat up a couple of the waitresses, Piccolo & Krillin compared notes on various battle attacks and how they could improve their techniques, while Goku was giving Vegeta last minute advice on how to keep his marriage happy.

'Trust me Vegeta, you need to tell them that they look good regardless of how they really look, oh and try to remember things like their birthday and your anniversary. It really helps to keep the peace. Then there are times when you need to just shut up & put up.' said Goku.

'Now look here Kakarot, I have no intention of letting that woman walk all over me. I am a prince and as such will be treated as one. My wife will look after me and do as she's told. if I want to fight or fly then I will!, and no woman will stop me.' said Vegeta. 'Now wheres that waiter? I want another drink.' 'Hey, hey waiter, come here. Drinks for me and my friends.' hiccuped Vegeta. the waiter came over and took their order.

'I'll be back in a minute Vegeta, I need the bathroom.' said Goku.

'I'm coming too' said Piccolo and they both went off in search of the toilet.

Meanwhile the waiter returned to the table with the drinks,

'Thanks' said Krillin and gave him some money.

'I'll just get your change.' said the waiter.

When he had gone Krillin said to Vegeta ' That waiter sounds familiar. I have a feeling I have heard him somewhere before.'

'Don't be ridiculous.' slurred Vegeta.

'He has quite a high power reading.' said Krillin.

'He doesn't have a power reading at all!' said Vegeta.

'Vegeta you have had too much to drink and wouldn't know if your tail was attached or not!' said Krillin. 'Theres something not quite right about him.'

'You know what your problem is Krillin?' said Vegeta. "You spend too much time with androids, you need to get a life."

Krillin looked daggers at Vegeta as the waiter came back with his change.

'Pardon me,' he purred 'But I could have sworn you called this gentleman Vegeta, That wouldn't be Prince Vegeta by any chance?' said the waiter.

'The one and only, in the flesh.' said Vegeta.

'At last.' replied the waiter. 'I have been waiting a long time to meet you.

'Another of my subjects or just an admirer?' said Vegeta.

'Not quite.' replied the waiter "I have a bone to pick with you. Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Ice and I am lord Friezas cousin and thanks to you, your friends and your son my cousin is dead, but I am here to avenge him.'

Vegeta sat staring at the creature before him, Krillin moved to get in position to fire a Kamehameha but Ice shot an energy blast at Krillin knocking him to the floor, he then shot another at Vegeta rendering him unconscious. he then picked up Vegeta and turned to Krillin and said 'If you or your friends want to see Vegeta again don't follow me but wait for me to contact you.' With that Ice turned and flew out through the door with Vegeta over his shoulder.

Krillin picked himself up off the floor & stared after the departing Ice. Meanwhile, Goku and Piccolo were in the mens when the whole room shook.

"Was that you Piccolo?" asked Goku.

'No.' said Piccolo. '

Well it wasn't me so something's up.' said Goku.

'Its probably just Vegeta letting off steam. You know what he's like when he gets pissed .' said Piccolo.

'I'm not so sure.' said Goku. 'Lets go & see.'

Goku & Piccolo washed their hands and left the toilet, when they got back to their table Krillin was standing there staring open mouthed at the door.

'Wheres Vegeta?' asked Goku.

'He just took him......he just took him." said Krillin.

"Who took who?" asked Piccolo.

'Ice took Vegeta" said Krillin.

'Who the heck is Ice?" asked Goku

'Friezas cousin.' replied Krillin. 'He just zapped Vegeta & took him, told us not to follow but he would be in contact.' Krillin slumped in his chair, 'I should have stopped him.'

Goku put his hand on Krillins shoulder. 'No you did the right thing Krillin.' he said.

Master Roshi came rushing up. 'Whats going on guys?' he said.

'It seems that Vegeta has been kidnapped by Friezas cousin Ice.' said Goku.

'Oh no' said Master Roshi 'he didn't put up much of a fight.'

'No' said Goku. 'He would have been pretty well smashed after 10 scotches and you know his powers are very erratic if he tries to use them when he's pissed. God knows what would happen. I think he was too far gone to use anything at all.'

'So what do we do now then?' asked Piccolo.

'We wait until Ice contacts us.' said Krillin.

'We might as well go home then and wait there.' said Piccolo.

'I'm just going to get a couple of phone numbers & I'll be right with you.' said Master Roshi and he disappeared in the direction of the ladies changerooms.

'Hey Goku, why are you shaking? and you have gone pale too.' said Piccolo.

'I just thought I have to explain to Bulma and Chi Chi what has happened to Vegeta.' said Goku.

'Oh boy, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes.' said Krillin.

'Yes, Its bad enough having Chi Chi doing her nut at me but, oh man.... Bulma too!' whined Goku 'What am I going to do?"

'Yes.' said Piccolo, " Having Chi Chi mad at you is one thing, but telling Bulma that you have lost her future husband....... No Thanks !!'

'Okay' said Master Roshi, 'Im done so lets get going boys.'

The guys walked over to the door & left the night club each silent with their own thoughts, Master Roshi was thinking about the girls he had met, Krillin was wondering why he hadn't done more to stop Ice, Piccolo was thinking about how they could get Vegeta back and Goku? Well Goku was thinking how best to protect himself from the women when they find out that he let Vegeta get kidnapped............
