VEGETAS BUCKS NIGHT PART 3 VEGETAS RESCUE
"To the right" replied Gohan. They ran down another corridor, "There should be some steps at the end here that will take us down to level 5" said Gohan. Sure enough at the end there was a stairwell leading down. "Now where?" asked Krillin as he landed beside Gohan. "He should be in one of these rooms." said Gohan. "I still cant sense his power level." said Krillin. "The computer said he was in room 16, You take that side & I'll go this side, check for numbers and yell when you find him." said Gohan, and off he went. "Oh man, I don't like this one bit." thought Krillin and set off in the opposite direction. "8, 10, 12, 14, 16, whoa....thats it!" said Krillin. "Gohan!, I've found him!!" yelled Krillin. "About time someone showed up!" said Vegeta. "Nice to see you too Vegeta." said Gohan. "Look stop wasting time and get me out of here." growled Vegeta. "There's a force field thats preventing me from getting out, you need to find the control panel and turn it off. It should be around here somewhere." "That must be what's stopping us from sensing your power then." said Krillin. "No kidding idiot!! now hurry up you two we don't have all day!" snapped Vegeta. Krillin & Gohan split up and searched for the control panel. "I've found it!" called Gohan, now all he had to do was turn it off. He pushed the red button..... nothing happened. He pushed the blue one...... still nothing. "I don't know which button it is." called Gohan. "Just push them all idiot!!" yelled Vegeta. Gohan started pushing all the buttons, green, yellow, purple .......... "Thats it!! I'm out!!" yelled Vegeta. "Great now lets get out of here." called Gohan. He ran back to where Krillin & Vegeta were standing. "Come on guys, what are you waiting for?" he said. Krillin & Vegeta continued to stand staring straight past Gohan. Slowly Gohan turned around and as he did his senses tingled, his jaw dropped & his eyes widened. "Ohhhhhhh" was all he managed to say. "Why have I been so blind?" thought Ice. "I have been too busy fighting that pathetic Namek & then that saiyan to realise what they were up to. Not to worry though, they are all still within the ship and it wouldn't take long to locate and eliminate them." He headed for level 5. He would save Vegeta till last and savour every moment of his destruction. He would deal with the two little insignificant bugs first, then Vegeta could watch while he finished off the Namek. The golden one would take a little more effort to destroy but what the heck! He was enjoying the battle. It would give Vegeta something to think about while awaiting his own death. Oh Yes, he was so looking forward to killing Vegeta that he grinned at the thought. He reached level 5, he could feel their energy up ahead. "Darn!!" they had already managed to release Vegeta. Oh well not to worry, it wouldn't take much to recapture him. He turned the corner and stopped. Up ahead stood Vegeta and the bald one, the little saiyan had his back to him. Ice folded his arms and stared at the group.
"The hospitality leaves a lot to be desired." said Vegeta. "Oh I am so sorry that the service is not up to your royal standards but hired help is so hard to get these days." replied Ice. "You need to be more particular in who you employ then." said Vegeta. "Now move aside and let us out of here!" "I'm afraid I cant do that ." said Ice, "You see I intend to destroy all of you one by one, but you Vegeta, you I want to keep till last. So I can make you suffer. First by watching your friends die, then by the pain I will inflict upon you." "Boy, I thought your ego was big Vegeta, but this guys is off the planet!!" said Krillin. "Shut up baldy!" said Vegeta. "Just get ready to fire at him and then you two get the hell out of here..." "Okay" said Gohan, "You just give the word."
Ice stared at Vegeta, a sneer on his face. His eyes narrowed and then he shot two beams from them, Vegeta powered up and blocked them, "Now!!" he yelled. "Destructo disc!" called Krillin and fired 2 at Ice. Vegeta sent a Ki bolt and Gohan having also powered up added a masenko to the assault. As the smoke cleared Ice lowered his arms, there was no sign of Vegeta or the others. "Blast." said Ice. "Oh well .... a hunting we will go." and he set off down the corridor following a power level.
" Wrong on both accounts." came the reply followed by a fire ball. Krillin was propelled backwards into the wall. "I knew this was going to be a bad day." he said & then crashed to the floor. Gohan stopped dead in his tracks. "Krillin!!" he called "Oh no! Krillin!" and he took off in the direction of the explosion. An arm came out of nowhere and grabbed him. "Vegeta, don't do that ." said Gohan. "Now look here kid, charging off & getting yourself killed isn't going to help anyone. We need to get out of here and then we can defeat Ice. Your the only one who knows the way out. It's no good fighting him in here there are too many places for him to hide." said Vegeta. "Im not leaving Krillin." said Gohan and he managed to struggle free of Vegetas grasp. "You may not care about anyone but yourself Vegeta but I do and I'm not leaving him!" with that Gohan flew off once again in the direction of the explosion. "I'm coming Krillin!" he said. Goku staggered over to where Piccolo lay, at least he was still breathing. "Don't worry Piccolo, a sensu bean will soon fix you up." he said. They both could do with a sensu bean he thought but Krillin had the beans and he was in the spaceship. Loud explosions could be heard coming from within the craft. Goku wondered just what was going on inside there. Were Krillin & Gohan okay? Had they managed to find and release Vegeta ? He powered back down to normal, "Hang in there Piccolo I'm going to go in & help the others and bring you back a sensu bean." He headed for the space ship. Gohan found Krillin lying in a heap. He was pretty badly hurt. "Oh no, Krillin? Are you okay?" asked Gohan. "Just fine & dandy, don't worry about me little bro, you get yourself out of here." "No, I'm not leaving you Krillin." said Gohan and he bent down & managed to pick Krillin up. "Were getting out of here together." he said. "Oh look, 2 for the price of 1." said Ice. "Eeny, meeny, miney, mo... shall it be the saiyan or the bald one thats first to go?" laughed Ice. "Look out!!!" yelled Vegeta and he pushed Gohan & Krillin out of the way. The ball of energy shot into the wall sending shards of metal spraying in all directions. "Wow, that was close." breathed Gohan. "Thanks Vegeta." "Look kid, save it for someone who cares. Now get the cue ball and get out of here while you still can." said Vegeta. Gohan again picked up Krillin and took off leaving Vegeta facing Ice. "Okay Ice, if its me you want then come and get me." said Vegeta. He clenched his fists and screamed...... Ice stood and watched as the monkey before him transformed into another of those golden haired warriors, The aura was there but the power level while greatly increased was not as strong as the warrior they call Goku."Oh goody.... now we have 2 of them." laughed Ice. :"I'm so scared...." Vegeta launched himself and connected with Ice's jaw. The blow took Ice by surprise and knocked him off his feet. Vegeta took advantage and managed to get in several punches and kicks before a punch to the solar plexus sent him backwards. He recovered quickly and the two enemies stood glaring at each other. "Aggggggghhhhhhh!!!" yelled Vegeta and aimed for Ice's midriff but Ice was no longer there. A punch to the back sent Vegeta sprawling. He managed to get back on his feet and charged again at Ice, this time he connected.
"Gohan... is that you?" "Dad!" yelled Gohan "Ha ha ha Boy am I glad to see you dad." "What's happening in there Gohan?" asked Goku. "Krillins hurt but we managed to find Vegeta and set him free, he's busy fighting with Ice at the moment." replied Gohan. "He wont be able to hold him for long." said Goku. "Come on Gohan lets get Krillin outside to safety, then we need to give both him and Piccolo a sensu bean each." "Is Piccolo okay dad?" asked Gohan. "Hes pretty beat up but a sensu bean will help. I could do with one myself." said Goku. "Krillin should have them in his pocket." Goku carried Krillin outside and lay him down next to Piccolo, Then he reached into his pocket and brought out the bag of beans. He took 2 out of the bag and put one in Krillins mouth and the other in Piccolos. He reached in the bag again and took one for himself. While he waited for the bean to do its job he thought about the best way to beat Ice. Gohan to was deep in thought. He knew his dad was pretty hurt from his fight with Ice & if that was the case just how were they going to beat him? Suddenly there was a deafening bang and Vegeta came flying out of the side of the space ship, Ice wasn't far behind him. An exchange of energy blasts followed, then they began to swap punches & kicks again.
"Well Vegeta is out & battling Ice as we speak but he doesn't have the strength or speed to beat him." "Well what are we waiting for? We should go and help him." said Piccolo. "NO!!" said Goku. "But you just said yourself that he cant win, he's going to need all our help." said Piccolo. "None of us can beat Ice as we are, regardless of what level we are at, be it SS1 or SS2." said Goku. "And even if we attack together he will still beat us." "So you are saying that its impossible? That we should just give up?" said Piccolo "Give up?" said Gohan. Krillin groaned, "Who's giving up?" he asked. "Krillin!! your okay" squealed Gohan. "A bit stiff but still here. Thanks for getting me out of there." said Krillin. "Hey no problem." replied Gohan. "I never said anything about giving up! " said Goku "I just said there was no way we could beat him even if we all attack together. But there may be another way." " And what might that be?" asked Piccolo. "Well if Gohan and I fuse together at SS level 2 then our combined strength should be enough to topple Ice." "Fuse together? I don't understand dad." said Gohan. "Look its quite simple son, we both power up to level 2 then you do exactly as I do and viola.... we join together and our strength and speed will double. The only thing is that it doesn't last for long so we will need to finish Ice off as quickly as possible." "Is it dangerous?" asked Krillin. "Not if we both do exactly the same steps." replied Goku. "Well Gohan, what do you think? Are you game?" said Goku. "Errr ....well" said Gohan. The earth shuddered and rocks and dust flew as Vegeta slammed into the side of the cliff. With an angry roar he shot back out again straight at Ice. "Come on Gohan, I need an answer now, Vegeta cant hang on much longer." said Goku. Vegeta screamed as Ice slammed a fist into his back. "Gohan!!!????" said Goku. The ground shook as Vegeta hit. "Okay dad, just tell me what to do." said Gohan. "Good son, now power up to level 2 and do exactly what I do."
Out of the corner of his eye he saw 2 flashes of gold, he turned and looked. "So they think they can beat me by fighting 2 against 1 well they are in for a shock." he thought. Vegeta gurgled, Ice punched him hard in the chest knocking the wind out of him. Vegeta doubled over, Ice gave him a knee to the face and Vegeta spat blood. A swift kick to the lower back followed, Ice raised his hand to throw another punch, Vegeta blocked but the force was too great, he screamed as the bones snapped . Ice sent him spinning to the ground with a huge kick to the shoulder blades. Ice descended slowly, Vegeta wasn't going anywhere, he was nearly finished. Let him suffer for a bit longer, then when he was begging for mercy Ice would bring down the final curtain. He looked across wondering why the other two warriors hadn't joined in the fight. He couldn't believe his eyes. Just what did they think they were doing? They were both prancing and dancing around, the smaller one a mirror image of the other. What on earth were they up to?. "They must be going mad!" Thought Ice. "Oh well let them dance, they would be dancing to a different tune very soon." He turned back to Vegeta . "Almost there." thought Goku, "So far so good, Gohan had managed to imitate him exactly." Gohan started to feel strange, everything was starting to blur together, he felt his power level increasing, he sensed his father was close. Ice picked Vegeta up by the hair, blood trickled from his mouth. "Are you ready to beg for your life now?" he asked. "NEVER!!" roared Vegeta, he coughed and sprayed Ice with droplets of blood. Ice wiped them away. "Why you dirty little monkey." he said and punched Vegeta so hard that the force of it ripped Vegeta from his grasp and embedded him in the side of the mountain. Ice looked at the tufts of hair still in his fingers. He opened his hand and let them fall to the ground. He flew after Vegeta and dragged him from the rock. "And now sweet prince it is time for YOU TO DIE!!!" screamed Ice and began to gather an energy ball in his hand ready to fire at Vegeta. As he raised his hand to shoot the blast there was a huge flash and a bang. Ice stopped dead and looked at the clearing smoke. Vegeta raised his head and wiping the blood from his eyes stared at the smoke. "Kakarot ...... what have you done?" he whispered and then passed out. "Ohhh my ...." said Ice, He couldn't take
his eyes off the figure that stood there, he began to tremble ....
his mouth opened but nothing came out. |
