Arcatica was destroyed by King Vegeta. Years later the planet sends its finest warrior to destroy King Vegeta, but the warrior falls in love with one of the enemies.

THE PROLOGUE: WHAT HAS GONE BEFORE

Long ago, long before Vegeta's time, King Vegeta had visited a planet far
beyond the galaxy's known boarders, and nearly destroyed the entire planet,
on a whim.
The Leading Family, the Starsaults, sent their strongest warriors out to
fight this horrible evil. Not a single warrior returned. Every last single
one of them was killed. The last warrior they sent was Kabastra Starsault,
the eldest son of the Leading Family.
The battle was fierce and lasted for hours, in the end it was a draw and
King Vegeta, seriously injured, left the planet, barely intact. Mere hours
later, young Kabastra died from his wounds, he left behind a young wife and
an unborn child. A boy child would be born a few short months later; his
name would be Lord Kabastrie Starsault, Kabastra's only child.
Almost exactly a year after the fateful battle, King Vegeta's son, Prince
Vegeta was born. By that time, the surviving Arcaticains were already
drilling hatred for the Saiyans into the young child. Kabastrie, like the
rest of his kind, would grow to hate the Saiyans and their merciless leader
King Vegeta.
Kabastrie, twenty years later, married, his hatred for the Saiyans
growing blacker and blacker with each passing year. He would pass his hatred
for the Saiyan kind onto his four children, three boys, Iterias, the eldest,
Hiurian, the middle son, and Kuilian, the youngest, and his only daughter,
Arianna, born after Iterias.
Arianna's hatred for the Saiyans would surpass her father's, until even
the mere mention of the Saiyans or King Vegeta's name, would spark a bright
flame of hatred in her beautiful emerald-azure eyes. She swore she would one
day avenge her grandfather's death, and make the Saiyans pay for what they
had done to her once fertile world. It would take years, maybe hundreds of
years, until the once lushly forested planet would even be close to
recovering from the damage that King Vegeta had done to it.
Arianna's strength grew, as did her power, until she surpassed all of
those on her planet, no one was stronger than she. It was then she decided
that she was ready to go and hunt down King Vegeta, and pay him back for all
that he had done. The mystics of Arcatica were unable to locate King
Vegeta's life force, but they were able to locate one very similar. His
child or some other form of relative.
Arianna set her sights on him; she would exact revenge upon him for the
sins of his father. And so began her perilous journey that would prove to be
more a journey of the heart than one of revenge.

CHAPTER 1: THE LONG JOURNEY

Arianna's mother waved a white silk kerchief farewell to her daughter,
the tears streaming hotly down her cheeks. She was unable to stifle the sob
that erupted from her throat; she turned away and buried her face in her
husband?s warm embrace. "Shh," he said consolingly, "Everything will be
all right. Arianna's been training for this her whole life." He smiled fondly
at his only daughter, who would of thought it would be a female that would go
to avenge Lord Kabastra's death, this many years later. He was only sorry it
was not he himself going to do it.
Arianna would be sent to a planet far beyond Arcatica's known boarders,
into the central nexus of the galaxy, to a blue and green planet known only
as Earth. Little was known about this planet, except that it is nothing at
all like Arcatica, and that this Earth is made up mostly of water. Arcatica
is made up mainly of land, acre upon acre of lush rainforests. Earth has at
least four known seasons. One extremely hot, one mild, one extremely cold,
so cold that the skies put down frozen water particles, and the last mildly
cold. Arcatica was always warm; the skies were always filled with beautiful
purple fluffy clouds. It rained at least four or five times a day, if not
more. Earth and Arcatica could not possibly be any more different.
Arianna would have to adapt to a different atmosphere and lifestyle, but
it was a challenge she was up to. She would do it, if it was the only way to
avenge her grandfather's death. Even if she did fail, there would be a
flotilla of battle ships on its way, just in case King Vegeta's decedents
were able to defeat her. The captains of the flotilla would take the
information that Arianna gathered and saved, and would return home to
Arcatica and use the gathered insights to formulate a plan to defeat the evil
Saiyans. One way or another, Kabastra would be avenged. She just hoped
that she would be the one to avenge his death.
Arianna glanced at her mother; the tearstains were evident on her
mother?s porcelain colored face. Her eyes were red and puffy, from all her
crying. Arianna?s father stood bravely beside his distraught wife, his arm
stretched protectively over her shoulders. He was the picture of calm, as if
none of this were affecting him. She could tell from the stern set of his
eyes and mouth, that her leaving was paining him dearly.
She smiled fondly and raised her hand in a final salute, silently she
sent out to her family and friends, If this is farewell, I loved you all
dearly. If not, till we meet again.
She turned her back and entered the small single-manned spacecraft. This
would be her home for the next few months. She flipped the engines to green,
fed them power and watched carefully as the power indicators rose up to
minimum power, on up to atmosphere braking power and up to warp level. Then
she gunned them, the tiny craft whined in protest then jolted up into the
air, gaining altitude until it was just a mere yellow speck in the purple
tinted skies of Arcatica.
She was on her way to her destiny, or her death.

A few short months later???..
Trunks glared at his father, he couldn't believe they were at it yet
again. Didn't?t his father ever get tired of training? Earlier, they'd been
training for three hours straight when Trunks had managed to convince Vegeta
to take a brake. Now, twenty minutes later, they were practicing, again.
Trunks was tired and worn out, all he wanted to do was go get a quick
shower and head over to Goten's to see what his favorite bud was up to.
Trunks sight wearily. This time Vegeta glared at him, Trunks only shook
his head, knowing to say anything would only mean the inevitable argument
with his father. He didn't want to deal with that right now.
The wind shifted suddenly, picking up. It gusted strongly, picking up
the debris in the yard and sending it spiraling into the sky. Young Bra, who
was swimming nearby in the in-ground pool, screamed shrilly as a large tree
came crashing down through the fence and started falling towards the pool.
Vegeta was air-borne instantly, grabbing Bra quickly out of the water and
sitting her safely on the ground next to Trunks. "Didn't Mom tell you to do
something with that tree weeks ago, Father?" Trunks asked, glaring at his
father.
"Maybe, maybe not. Does it really matter, boy?" Vegeta sneered, walking
away from his two children, secretly sighing a breath of relief that nothing
had happened to his young daughter.
Bra was shaking uncontrollably as Trunks walked over to her. "You
all right?" He asked.
Her teeth were chattering, she turned her baby blue eyes to look up at
her older brother. "What happened," she asked through her chattering teeth.
A sudden blast of super heated air struck them full-force. The force of
the blast knocked young Bra over, Trunks stuck his hands up in front of his
face in a defensive block, and managed to stay on his feet. He glanced up at
the sky and saw a bright light go streaking by. "What the hell?" He
asked, watching as it crashed far out in the countryside. Far beyond where
Goten lived. Well, he thought to himself, this at least gives me the perfect
reason to go out to Goten's.
Vegeta turned around quickly, his hand falling away from the door. He
just stood there, outside the house, gazing up at the cloudless blue sky. He
had felt something just then, something very powerful. What had just landed
on Earth this time to shatter their peace once again?
If only he knew the danger that had just arrived looking for him.

**********************************

Arianna stood in the entranceway of her tiny craft, gazing out at the
world in front of her. She'd landed on the edge of a sprawling meadow and a
dense forest, her craft's nose just settling up against a wide trunked tree.
The trees themselves were something strange to behold. Trees on her planet
had crimson red trunks with beautiful lavender leaves. Here, on this Earth,
the trees had brown trunks with deep green leaves. The sky was blue, and the
puffy clouds white. On Arcatica, the skies were a light purple, almost
violet with fluffy indigo clouds.
Her green blue eyes took in the landscape; it was so different from her
home planet. I can't wait to finish here so I can return home. This planet
is very strange. I wonder what the Earthlings look like. She wondered to
herself. She stepped back inside of the craft, walked over to where her
sleeping chambers were at and picked up a data pad off of the bedside table.
She tapped the screen, tapped it again and watched as her people's alien
language scrolled across the screen. Very much like us, but they have a
wider range of eye shapes and skin coloration's. They have no tales and
usually are not very strong. King Vegeta's decedents should be very easy to
find amongst these weaklings. She scanned the data a little longer and
suddenly her eyes opened wide in surprise. Not only do they have no power,
but they can't even ascend into a stronger form either. These creatures are
indeed pitiful.
She laughed, I'm glad I don't live on this waterlogged ball. It has no
potential.
She walked back out into the bright sunshine, glancing up at the
brilliant sun. It only has one sun also, no wonder they have such strange
weather patterns. Arcatica is always warm because of our three suns. These
poor creatures know not what they are missing.
She clenched her fists, powering up. Soon she had ascended beyond normal
Arcaticain power levels and had transformed into the Feral Cat. Her teeth
bared in a fierce snarl. With her enhanced senses she snuffed the air,
searching for an alien scent that was somehow familiar. She detected
nothing. Everything on this strange planet was unfamiliar. Weird scents
assaulted her sensitive nostrils. Even weirder noises came to her enhanced
hearing. She shook her streamed-lined cat?s head, letting out an
ear-shattering "ROAR". Her powerful muscles surged forward; her graceful cat
feet carried her over the ground.
An Arcaticain in the Feral Cat form was a force to be reckoned with.
Just as a true Saiyan would transform into a giant monkey during a full moon
or a Super Saiyan after surpassing normal Saiyan power levels, an Arcaticain
would transform into a Feral Cat. A huge cat with lightning speed and
amazing strength. The ability to hyper jump from one point to another with
mere thought. Some Feral Cats, like Arianna, could shoot energy blasts from
their open mouths, while others could call an enemy to them by a soft low
pitch snarl, like a sirens song. Arianna's eldest brother Iterias, was able
to use this technique. A Feral Cats jaws were incredibly strong, able to
snap a large tree in half without even breaking a sweat, or their jaws.
Arianna surged forward, her strong muscles stretching out over the
ground, devouring length after length of it. Her quarry was here, somewhere
on this soggy planet. She would find him?
