CHAPTER 12: KUILIAN TO THE RESCUE
Kyetta glanced around the room she and Kuilian shared, her new husband
was nowhere to be seen, but he had left a message. She touched the
playback
button, and his image materialized in front of her. The faux Kuilian
glanced
nervously around, "Kyetta my love," the image spoke. "I
know you may be
wondering where I am or where I have gone, I can not tell you right
now where
I have gone, but rest assured I have gone to help Arianna." The
image
paused, glancing around again nervously. "Tell Arianna to have
hope, I have
seen the birth of her child, and I have also seen that there are many
who
would rather see the child dead. I go to prevent this in any way that
I
possibly can. Tell her to have hope. I love you Kyetta, always remember
that." The image dissolved, and Kyetta was alone in the dimly
lit room once
again. /Where have you gone?/ she silently thought, sending her mind
out,
hoping to catch some glimpse of her husband, but he was far from the
Arcaticain encampment.
******************************************************
He returned again, he wouldn't let her alone, Arianna had hoped that
after their first encounter he would have had his fill of her, it
just wasn't
the case. She was facing him this time, tied to the bed on her back;
he
paced in front of her, leering at her, his eyes taking her in hungrily.
He
had been right, Iterias had found out what he had done to her, but
was unable
to put a stop to it. In fact, others had joined Pinath in his brutal
assaults on her body. She'd lost count of how many had come to her
and
forced her to comply to their whims. Each face had blurred into the
next,
each violation more degrading than the next.
The tears welled up in her eyes and spilled over her eyelids and created
dirty tracks down her filthy cheeks, "No, please," she whispered.
"Leave me
be," her voice quivered, a sign of the great pain she was in.
Pinath licked his lips, gazing hungrily over her naked body. She was
covered with darkening bruises and scabbed over abrasions. Dirt smudged
her
golden sun-tanned skin. His dark eyes met her green-blue ones, "Ready?"
he
asked, his voice husky with desire.
She shook her head violently, a small whimper of fear getting stuck
in
her throat as he began his slow advance towards the bed and her. "Please,"
she whispered, the words getting caught in her dry throat. /To be
reduced to
a begging myling,/ the thought desperately brushed her fevered mind.
"Oh my sweet," Pinath chuckled. "Believe me, you don't
have to beg me."
He sat down on the bed next to her, gently caressing her still wet
cheeks.
She closed her eyes, trying to rid his image from her brain. He grabbed
hold
of her from under the chin and yanked her head up, her eyes flying
open and
clashing with his. "Look at me my sweet, I want you to watch
what I'm going
to do to you. I want you to watch how I'm going to enter you and fill
you
with myself, I want to hear you groan in pleasure." He bent his
head down
and kissed her lips softly. "I want you!" He said flatly.
She turned her head, refusing to look him in the eyes. He brought
her
head around again, making her look him right in the eyes. "You
do know you
are the camp whore, so to say?" His laughter was merciless and
unforgiving.
"You could've had so much more. We could've been so much more.
You
should've been mine, not his. Now I will have you, and I don't give
a damn
about the laws, I will kill that child inside of you long before the
bastard
is ready to be born!"
"NO!" Arianna screamed as he bore down on her, his teeth
nipping at her
neck. The tears ran silently down her cheeks, hoping it would soon
be over.

Kuilian ran through the forest, his feet pounding against the hard
ground. His breathing was heavy, and his sides heaved with the exertion.
Even in Feral form, the midnight run was to much for him and he had
to stop
and rest. It couldn't be much further; the city couldn't be much further
ahead. At least he hoped, anyhow.
"Will I know where to find this Trunks at, once I reach the town,?
Kuilian wondered. /Will he agree to come with me? Will he even care?/
Kuilian hoped so, for Arianna and her unborn child at least. /Should
I tell
him about the child, or should I leave that up to Arianna?/ So many
thoughts
fought to be heard, each pounding away at his mind. /I won't tell
him, I
will let my sister do that. It won't be fair to her if he only comes
to save
her because of the child./ Kuilian shook his massive cat's head. /If
he
refuses to help, then they would find away to rescue their sister
on their
own. Somehow?/
A light halo shone in the sky up ahead, a city aura reflecting light
into
the night sky. Finally, truth would soon be out and Arianna's fate
hung in
the balance.

The knock sounded lightly on the door, Bra looked up at the clock
on the
wall. /Who would be visiting them this late at night?/ she wondered.
Bulma
yelled from the kitchen, "Bra dear, could you please answer the
door? My
hands are wet still dear!" The rattle and clanking of dishes
reinforced her
mother's statement.
"Yes, mother!" Bra yelled. She got up from her chair in
front of the
TV. and went to the door. Trunks legs were in her way as she crossed
behind
the coffee table. "Move them, would you?" She snapped.
He looked up at her momentarily, his brows nitted in thought. "Yeah,
sure, whatever." He mumbled, putting his feet down on the carpeted
floor.
The knock sounded again, this time just a bit louder. "Better
hurry," Trunks
said, returning his gaze to the TV. "OH, and if it's Pan or Marron,
tell
them to let me alone, ok." He looked up at her briefly. "I'm
really not in
the mood for their snide remarks about my wrecked sex and love life."
Bra scrunched her nose in thought, trying to come up with a smart
remark,
but upon taking another look at her brother's face, the remark died
in her
throat. She just nodded her head, and walked towards the door. She
swung it
open and was greeted by someone she had never met in her life before.
"Who
are you?" She asked stunned.
He was gorgeous, drop dead gorgeous! His hair was light brown, almost
looking a dark blond shade. His eyes were light blue, ice shaded and
he had
just the barest of a tan. He was tall, standing almost as tall as
her
brother. He was absolutely gorgeous! "I'm looking for someone
named Trunks?"
The stranger said.
Bra's eyes almost popped out of their sockets, /Why would someone
as
gorgeous as this man be here to see my brother?/ she wondered, eyeing
him
speculatively. She opened the door wider, "He's in watching TV,
I'll warn
you though, he's not in a very good mood. His girlfriend dumped him.
Turned
out she wasn't what she said she was." Bra laughed, the sound
getting caught
in her throat as she heard a growl come from behind her.
"What is he doing here?" Vegeta snarled. (How is it he always
shows up
right when an Arcaticain is near the house?)
Bra whirled around to face her father, confused about what he was
talking
about.
"What are you doing here?" Vegeta growled, stalking up to
the stranger.
The stranger turned blue, almost white eyes on him. "My name
is Kuilian,
I am Arianna's youngest brother-" He didn't get to say anything
further,
Vegeta was in the air, heading straight towards him. Kuilian dodged,
landing
a punch in Vegeta's midsection. "I did not come here to fight
you!"
"Shut up you Arcaticain scum!" Vegeta snarled. Powering
up, he let fly
a low power ball of energy. It headed straight for the young man,
but at the
last moment the young man wasn't there. "What the hell?"
Vegeta cursed. He
spun around, sensing the energy build up behind him, and there the
young man
stood.
"I didn't come here to fight, I came to ask for your help!"
The
Arcaticain male sighed, dodging yet another energy ball. "Aren't
you
listening to a word I'm saying?"
"I don't listen to scum like you. It's your kind that hurt my
daughter,
your sister actually!" Vegeta roared, upping his power. If he
had to go to
Super Saiyan just to finish off this insignificant trash, than so
be it.
"I will not fight," Kuilian said, raising his hands in surrender.
"If
what Arianna has told me is true, you are an honorable man, and will
not want
harm to come to your family."
"Are you threatening my family?"
"Not at all, but if they kill Arianna and they will, then, I'm
afraid
your son and daughter will be next. Then your wife, and lastly you."
Kuilian said, his voice low.
"Wait," It was a new voice this time. Kuilian turned his
azure gaze to
the lavender haired youth; this was the one he had come to see. "You
said if
they kill Arianna, what do you mean?"
Kuilian turned his full attention on the young man. "Yes, they
are
threatening death if she does not reveal what she knows about you
and your
family. We know about what occurred between you two, and many are
not happy.
Others see it as a sign of change, something that was bound to happen
eventually." Kuilian sighed heavily, "I am amongst those
that crave the
change."
"She betrayed us, betrayed me," The youth said softly.
"How do you figure? Because she didn't tell you who she was,
or what she
was? You would've turned your back on her, just as you have done."
"I didn't-" Trunks began, only to be cut short.
"Yes, you did." Kuilian said softly, his eyes despondently
staring down
at the floor. "You never gave her a chance to explain herself.
Never gave
her the chance to tell you how she felt, she loves you and has put
her life
on the line for you, and you repay her by turning your back on her."
He
crossed his arms in front of his chest, and planted his feet, ready
to hash
it out verbally with the half Saiyan Prince.
"She betrayed me!" Trunks shouted, stepping closer to the
Arcaticain
stranger. "She knew how my family felt about your kind, and she
still hid
it!" "All because she knew how you felt about us. She knew
you would try
and kill her if you knew-"
"Wait just a damn second!" Vegeta snarled, stepping into
the
Arcaticain?s face. "She came here to kill us, not vice versa.
If she
hadn't tried killing my son and daughter and their friends, I wouldn't
have
cared what she was! The point is, she tried killing them, and if I
ever see
her again, I sure as hell am going to kill her!" Vegeta's eyes
blazed as he
stared hard at the young Arcaticain male. "You take that back
to her!"
"She may not be alive by the time I return. She is tortured relentlessly
because she'd rather bite her tongue and protect you and your family
than
tell what she knows. I don't see why," Kuilian said softly, "You
are
unworthy of her love." He turned to walk out the door, his last
hope for his
sister gently slipping through his fingers like sands of the hourglass.
Ironic, he thought to himself, An hour may be all she has left.
Let me know what you think!
